7.8 /10. Ljung and Freud agrees. This is a serious mindfu** eerr mindlock! Interesting story, dialogue, puzzles. I recommend wholeheartedly to any point and click adventure fan out there.

I'm not especially fond of 3D adventure games but the Sherlock Holmes franchise does it right more often than not. It's a good game. I enjoyed it and I recommend if You're a die hard fan of detective narrative with dark side elements.

Almost 12 hours in, at chapter 3, and I'm having a blast. For my money "Prim" is already one of the classics. Great story, amazing visual and even if the theme is all black and white the background and characters looks amazing.
The puzzles are logic but sometimes hard to solve which I like. It's been a while since I experienced a solid point and click adventure game of this magnitude.
A sometimes emotional but mostly funny A+ game in a sort of "Discworld"/"Simon the sorcerer"- type of way mixed with a bit of uhm.. yeah I guess "Book of the unwritten tales comes closest to mind.
But Prim hold it's own ground and uniqueness I must point out.

I wholeheartedly recommend this title. A must play for any die hard fan of the genre.

It's fun for a while and then it is not. I liked it a lot in the beginning but then I started paying for more record samples and realized that microtransactions is not for me..

Swedish Indie-game that deserve praise! I played when it came out, liked it from the get go but thought it was to punishing.. but came back recently and noticed they made it easier for a boomer like myself. So now I enjoyed it again :) recommend!

This is my verdict after playing "The night is grey".


Cons:

- Lack of nuanced responses when mouse-klicking on hot spots and general things. Often
is the same monologue from the protaganist repeating itself twice.

- Occasionally long loading video sequences. Is this a problem from my end and
the fact that I have an old PC? I don't know!

- Post credits rolling and game finished I was checking EXTRA material and
got stuck in the documents menu. Yes it happened! I was NOT able to press right mouse button to exit as the dev's instructed. I had to win tab out and exit application. Weird!

- Captivating story in a way but didn't leave a very long lasting impression on me.

- Underwhelming ending. Lack of grande finale! Last 20 min or so felt rushed
and uninspiring.


Pros:

+ Graphic's just fine for an indie prod. Somethimes even great.

+ Yes it's an eerie athmosphere from time to time but I'd say it could have been
a lot more nailbiting.

+ Game mechanics are easy and simple to use.

+ Finished in a 22 hour stretch and that amount of playtime for a
13,49 dollar price tag I deem acceptable.

+ The music score is really good.

+ puzzles are really hard at times but not game breaking. I managed to complete
without any external guidence. A few of them just by tedious trial and error
and luck. Most of them by pure willpower and stupendious brain capacity! ;-)

Final judgement:

Buy and play. support the developers. I had fun!

I really love it!!!!

A solid turn based RPG - among the best! I highly recommend. (118 hours says it all).
And I'm so happy that they released new content, (patch 2.0).

I witnessed playful dolphins & Whales doing parkour ♥♥♥♥ infront of mi boat.
That alone makes me a Satisfied customer =)
and when i noticed Fish tetris minigame .. woah woah yay..

Graphics and music is superb.

I hated the old original garbage. looked like somethign the ol' puss could have spit up on the carpet.. but this.. THIS is how GK sins of the feathers was ment to be played! Still got some minor flaws here and there bit you'll easily let that slip. A mighty fine gem, - up there with Broken sword - shadows of the templar & still life just to mention some of the great titles on par.

I really liked this gem and every true point and klick adventurer should grab it!

By the way: sometimes the difficulty of puzzles is plain and simple crazy.. but there's no shame in consulting a walkthrough from time to time. Just remember that :)
