This is the most beautiful game that has ever graced my computer. For such a cheap price, it is by far the best for your money for any game on steam. It's similar to games such as minecraft where you'll find yourself having a phase of dedicating your life to this game before taking a break and coming back to start a new phase. I have had 3 phases for stardew. The first lasted a month. The second lasted 2. And my current phase has been for 2 and is still going.
Playing this game casual is fun. Playing this game trying to fully complete it is fun. Playing with mods is super easy and fun. Playing without mods is super fun, too.
I love stardew valley. it's so beautiful. you have marriage candidates that range from emo loverboy to closeted mean-girl. if for some reason you dont like their portraits, you can get a mod. or changing it yourself is pretty easy, too.
the farming aspect of the game feels rewarding, too. upgrading sprinklers is rewarding. having more animals is rewarding. watching all your crops grow every day is rewarding.
this game is pure bliss. i couldnt think more highly of stardew valley than i do.

breathtakingly beautiful to play with friends. strengthened all our friendsihps and brought us closer.
