TLDR Master Gameplayer , Mediocre story. 90/100

Story wise the game has wasted potential. Mediocre but servicable stories,endings and faction representation.
In contrast mechanically speaking this game is Peak. Its looting , combat , exploration , crafting , building and level progression all connect so well to each other that everything you do is fun and makes you feel progress.

One of the only few games ive replayed multiple times since i was young, It was worth it 100% this game

Nostalgic game i kept replaying as a teen. Bought and 100% the game as a final farewell.

To be honest its simplistic combat and some outdated quality of life will show its age but it will not takeaway how amazing this game is as a package, It could have won GOTY honestly.

You have an amazing story of a undercover cop infiltrating the Sun On Yee Hong Kong Triad. But he was chosen due to his childhood growing up with them and also his influence of growing his remaining teen years in America creating the Unique complex character of Wei Shen. A man balancing his 'Family' in the triad and his inner morality that fits with his police life.

This game also has funny as ♥♥♥♥ moments bruh , worth the money . Its dirt cheap on sale and its definitive edition os all DLC is there. Worth the buy and play

Combat is beautiful. A mix of avoiding and parrying. The balance of using parry to break enemy structure and using avoid to recover your own structure from parrying. I never thought id see combat that surpasses the parrying of sekiro and the avoids of Absolver.

The style of the game is also just unique and atmospheric leaving an impact on you. The story and characters while not very big is very dense and masterfully done. The philosophy and themes they explore using the games mechanics is absolutely amazing.

Do you like games with combat? Ye this game is 100% worth the money. I waited 1 year since it came out on epic for it to come to steam.

The deus ex franchise is a deep world to explore with beautiful imagery ,lore and philosophical theme. Its already top notch with its renaissance punk aesthetic, You combine it with how it discusses humanity, tech,privacy, authority and etc is just A MASTERPIECE.

This is the beginning of the (possible) modern triology of the deus ex franchise, It is absolutely worth it, amazing memorable characters you will miss , dynamic mission structure and gameplay. This game is 100% worth it, If you are hesitant ,sales will make this game cheap as hell

Beautiful amazing game using voxel based world which just allows more creativity. Everything is destructible , FOR REAL THIS TIME. Classes are balanced well, 2 unique utilities per class, 4 grenades to choose from per class, 3 unique primaries per class and 3 unique secondary

One of the most innovative IP that came from Fromsoftware
Instead of copy pasting the old Dark souls combat in a new IP they made a COMPLETELY different combat system. I am not kidding. The combat system is so unique and revolutionary that other games started being inspired and used the sekiro combat as a foundation. Look it up "Skyrim Sekiro combat mod" Games with a parry started being referenced with sekiro "Ouh the game has parries like sekiro"

The combat emphasises the message of the game and its mindset. 'Hesitation is defeat' Damage means nothing , Aggression is everything. You keep pressure on your enemy until they lose posture and you kill them. There is 'Chipping away its health' only aggresion or defeat.

The lack of 'Builds' also polarised the fanbase. You dont have different armor sets and weapons but with 1 katana you are given many martial arts, Shinobi tools and moves that are what make the combat diverse. Not diverse from equipment but diverse from utility.

This game recieved GAME OF THE YEAR for a reason. This is a Masterpiece of combat that sparked a revolution in the gaming industry and sadly it was still so polarising that many will forget This game compared to how loved the Souls series is.

Bro , this game is the best full package game.
-Gameplay that teaches you to prepare and lay down traps, Target specific logical weakpoints (Gas cans instead of random yellow spot), and basic stealth.
- Story that is while simple captivates you with its amazing characters, Absolutely amazing world building with how these robots come to exist while the people are still primitive to a sense.
- Music that suits the environment with a vibrant colour palette that perfectly showcases the saturated colours of nature whether it be the brown & dry canyon, milky white winter or the dark rocky cliffs.

This game is worth it for its Story and gameplay, Sure it has its classic open world towers and collectibles, But even then the reasoning and worldbuilding behind these game aspects are logical and absolutly beautiful.
