I am a relic of the past, a shadow of history. A very long time ago, at the dawn of a new century, a group of elite soldiers took up arms in the defence of their ideals. This band of brothers was called Panzergruppe and its members proudly wore Panzer names. For years, the Panzers dominated the battlefields of Close combat III: Russian front and the Allies were utterly crushed before them. No Allies player would dare face a Panzer without suffering total defeat and annihilation as the Panzers showed no mercy and fought fanatically to the last man and to the last bullet.
But war, war never changes. One by one, the Panzers fell in terrible battles : Arras, Moscow, El Alamein, Stalingrad, Kursk, the maps of Europe and North Afrika were filled with the tombs locations of the brave Panzers. Until only one remained, forever loyal to the Panzergruppe.
