Good game. First fighting game i've gotten properly into and it's great for learning the genre. Day 1 Nago Player

Ok, so I've been playing this game for a while now, and believe it or not, I really enjoy it. It's incredibly satisfying to play, and the combat is incredibly fluid. This is my first fighting game, and it's left a really good impression on me. I do agree with a lot of the reviews here; it can get a bit grindy and boreing after a while, mainly because the game could use more content. For 30$ is it worth it? I can't say. For 15$ is it worth it? Absolutely.

The other main thing worth mentioning is the difficulty. If you don't have a more experienced friend to guide you through, even the campaign, which is basically a glorified tutorial, takes a long while. The AI are either incredibly stupid or can dodge every move you throw at them, which is kind of irritating, especially when you get swarmed by 4 of them at once. However, once you get the hang of your defensive ability, and get through the first 60 levels, everything starts to click, and you get an experience that is like no other. The amount of fun you have as a reward for breaking through the learning curve is well worth it, if your willing to fight for it. This game may not be for everyone, but if you're willing to learn from all the times that you absolutely will get your ass beat when you start out, come, join, be an Absolver.
