I've been playing a good amount of Otome games in the last few years. Games like Hakuouki, Sweet Fuse, Amnesia and some others.
In comparison to those Pub Encounter is almost bland. The different storylines are interesting but of course not breathtaking, I mean it's normal life guys^^. Presentation and GCs are good and the music is...well it's there ;-).

So why do I like this game so much, despite the fact that it is only average in every regard except for the cast of men, to choose from? You maybe guessed it, it's because they're all beyond 40 years old, mature gentlemen so to say but don't take the gentlemen thing too serious. One reviewer here complained about the guys acting like some lovecrazy teenagers but that's actually exactly like reality is, age doesn't make a difference here...I think I should know, I have a thing for older men, so of course I dated some and there really is no big difference xD.

I wished though, that the stories would have focused a little more on the age gap promlematic but it's okay.

In my opinion this game is a must have if you're into the "Ossan" stuff ;-).

And finally my short thoughts on every route, going from least favourite to most favourite:

1. Mamoru
He's hot no doubt but I really disliked the chemistry between the MC and Mamoru, along with the overal behaviour of the MC (but that could count as a negative in probably every route).

2. Yorihisa
Very manipulating but somehow interesting to see the MC fall for him. He also has some charme but that's it.

3. Ryunosuke
One of the two routes with the most normal dating activities, the MC is the more avtive part here, I liked that. The rest of the story is okay.

4. Hideaki
Now, his route was actually a big surprise for me^^. I chose him the last because I liked him the least at first sight. Who would have thought what an interesting and charming character he is behind that silly mask. The background story was very good, too.

5. Soichiro
I guess many will not understand why he's my favourite in the whole game but well...he's just such a sweet old gentleman, who's still on edge, how can one not like that? He may be the oldest of the cast but that makes his route even more interesting in my opinion :3.

So in short: Recommended :-)

Loot Hero DX is a very simpel game, I mean VERY simpel. All you have to do is to walk back and forward to kill enemies and get loot. When you have gathered enough money, you can choose to upgrade either your power, critical rate, defence or speed. Besides of that you gain exp and level.

And that's it. Sounds absolutely boring but is somehow a lot of fun, at least if you like to grind, because that's all you're gonna do.

The presentation is nice in my opinion. Cute pixeled stages and enemies and a very well done soundtrack.

So, it's a nice short little game for all of you, who like to grind. For the rest...you better stay away. ;-)
