I have been playing Destiny as a whole since a bit after launch of destiny on the xbox 360, I loved destiny 1 but coming into destiny 2 I was disappointed, it felt different, but had a bunch of other good aspects so I looked past the things I missed. But destiny 2 today for me is unbearable, I find it extremely boring to play, I find it hard keep myself on the game for longer than 1 or 2 hours. Since shadow keep is when I believe this issue started, I enjoyed some moments from beyond light, and witch queen, but it never kept me hooked like forsaken. When I bought lightfall I was hopeful that the game would refresh that same feeling that kept me hooked, but lightfall was atrocious, nearly everything about it sucked. Half the time the enjoyable stuff is reintroducing older destiny 1 and destiny 2 content. The game feels like an unnecessary grind that isn't rewarding.

In relation to strikes there was very little content added throughout, but there was some fun strikes. Same thing with crucible maps. Gambit is practically dead. The state of the game issue is a whole separate issue, which has loads of essays about it already.
