Love the sound tracks, now I can take Skyrim everywhere I go.

07/08/2024 Update:
Okay....overall the game is fun...recommend hitting multiplayer free roam, tons of fun there. you can help divert ongoing police chases, and there is an event that starts up every so often where you drive in a specific zone doing drifts, long jumps, disabling cops, and a few other fun things.
I still think NFS Payback is better, but Unbound does seem to have a better multiplayer connectivity and is never short of players. Highly recommend for racing against friends.


Current Thoughts 03/17/2024:
The game mechanics are unbalanced, inconsistent and down right MADDENING! ugh...
Upgrading your car makes no difference against AI racers; No matter how greatly your cars performance is...you can never catch nor keep up with them. (both relaxed and intense mode)
Hand brakes, car handling, drifting and gripping are randomly bugged; You think you know how your car functions...next thing you know it stops responding to your commands at critical parts during your races.
The cops exclusively targets you...and occasionally goes after the AI racers.

Visually, its okay...the comic effects are very limited to only models, tire smoke, and the usage of nitros. *bleh*
Voice acting and accents are bearable but bland, you only get two voice options with terrible octave sliders.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ABUNDANCE OF PATIENCE AND WILL POWER TO PLOW THROUGH THIS HORRIBLY BUILT UNBALANCED MADDENING GAME

03/23/2024 EDIT: Just finished listening to the worst dialog that I've come across in the game A$AP Rocky. He talks like a politician - says a lot of crap of nothing and repeats it if not the same but "slightly" different way.

Need for Speed Payback is a fun great game.

I've played NFS Most Wanted, NFS Carbon, Rockstar - Midnight Club 3 on console, and NFS World.
NFS Payback is the first steam (EA) game I found where the mechanics were quite similar to what I enjoyed playing in the past.

There are five classes that a car can be specifically tuned for...well there is a "hidden" class called Speedcross which should be technically six classes...the AI don't have catch up...so you can out run them and leave them in the dust! yes!

I find it to be a great standalone and would recommend this being added to your collection of music.
This album is not just background music/noise. Each song is enjoyable to listen to.

I love this album.
If you enjoy collecting songs or soundtracks, this will make a great addition to your collection.
It has a great mixture of rock, fantasy, oriental and spooky themed songs.

The story is good and worth following, I had a lot of fun in traveling from city to city trading goods. Unfortunately the market is limited in individual actual value as the goods fall under a few categories on whether the city demands for them are high or low. Fortunately the market does change from time to time, so I wasn't to bothered and still had fun.
If you like playing games where the idea in an open free market where you sell high and buy low based on demand then you will enjoy this game.

Okay in regards to combat fights and haggling, I would state the AI is more set to being random and not what would be in its best favor.
So no, the AI was not programmed to be very bright.

Someone had mentioned not knowing the NPC stats. For those of you who are going to attempt to haggle, there is a rank that appears around the NPC merchant, just don't attempt if your rank is below the NPC. This does not apply in events where you are attacked or choose to attack bandits, which I can appreciate as you are supposedly taking a gamble crossing the desert.

For a single Soundtrack? Yes, its good and well worth it.
Add to your collection of music.

This is awesome! The sound tracks are amazingly done and I could see how the game could be addictive with these sound tracks.
If you are collecting music, don't hesitate to grab this.

The music is great!
The draw back is that the soundtracks are a bit short, but coming from a simple game as this, is acceptable.
Didn't really care for the artwork.
If anything, if you love music and looking to add to your stash, than this is worth grabbing.
Quite happy with my new additional music collection.

Got this on sale.
Great soundtracks.
Combination of Orchestra, Rock/Metal, Choir and Lead Singer.
Love it.
