I have definatly played FS 2017 more, but this game is good as well. However, I do not know if it was worth the price of a new game. I do not really like the base maps that much, however, I do love that you can now modify and "paint" the terrain, which allows you to really change your farms to how you want. That might be worth it to someone alone. Steering and physics are not really improved, and it might be worse. I do not think that I can recommend if you own FS17, but I recommend it if you do not own one already.

Washington is a very nice state. It is similar to Oregon, but has its own unique aspects. The scenery is well done, as always, and has interesting landmarks. Unique interchanges are roads make it different to drive, along with the amount of smaller dirt tracks that lead to logging sites in the woods, which add some extra challenge and different aspects to the game. Highly recommend.

While the game is defiantly good, there are bad parts to it (focusing on Online). There is a large grind, and more veteran players will easily destroy you, and there is little you can do about it as a low level, no matter how skilled you are. Then there are hackers, who are pretty much the same situation, but nobody can really defeat them if the hackers care enough. My advice is to try and find a session with only a few players, and whenever something gets sketchy in the slightest, switch sessions. This will avoid most hacking, since this prevents giving them time to mess with you. Overall a fun game, especially with friends, but be prepared for a grind and some disappointment or frustration. Especially since the AI seems programmed to get in your way by doing completely random and nearly unpredictable things constantly. At its now reduced price, it is more worth it than before, but still beware of what you are getting into.

Edit - Two years later, as a "Veteran" Higher Level player, all of the above still stands. The money grabbing tendencies of Rockstar can become very apparent, and frustrating. The issue with being attacked never stops. In a busy lobby, even at level 200, you can expect to be shot at, killed, or attacked for no apparent reason, either by other high levels, or lower levels hoping to get a quick kill and run while you are distracted. Experience/Level has no effect on how advanced hacks/modders can ruin the gameplay, as you might expect. I have found my ways to work around these issues generally, but it is still not all fun times, and it stays easy to become frustrated by either players or game mechanics. As I said before, the game can definitely be worth it to you, but beware of what you are getting into. I would give it a neutral review if I could.

Also - NEVER BUY A SHARK CARD. All you are doing is supporting the money-sucking business practices of Rockstar, and the benefit to you is almost nothing. In the many years since release, they have not adjusted the price to benefit ratio of a shark card. While in 2015, the $100, $8,000,000 In game card may have gotten you the best apartment, Multiple vehicles and customization, weaponry, and properties, not so anymore. The in game values have risen, so that 8 Million dollars will get you maybe 1 upgraded property, and two upgraded vehicles, or less. For example, the newest fast car they added costs 3.5 Million alone, without any upgrades. The newest property (submarine) costs 2.2 Mil for the basic model, and with all total upgrades, costs about 9 Million dollars. You could buy a $100 card, and STILL need more money for ONE fully upgraded new property.

I was given a key from a giveaway. I do not think I would have bought it, but I am glad to have it. It is nice to have more freedom with customization, and be able to replace the ugly or boring standard steering wheels. I would wait for a sale before buying, unless you really want to change the steering wheel in your truck right now, but I would get it eventully. If you never drive in cab view, then why are you even reading this?

Not only are these cargo heavy, they require more skill. You need to adjust to how they handle, you cannot just drive the same as you did before, you need to adust for their length. Unlike ETS2 Heavy Cargo, which can be easier to manuver sometimes, due to steer tires, the Spreaders in the ATS DLC make it so you have to swing wider, and plan more carefully. I recommend this to people who want an extra challenge, or want some new cargo, but are happy to play a little slower at first until you can understand them to a point where it feels a little more natural. For an extra challenge, try hauling these with a 6-Speed and the weakest engine. Then you really need to plan ahead, because any hill can become a huge obstacle to overcome. Good Luck!

The newest state, as of now, from SCS Software, and it has better signs, roads, and scenery than the already good looking Arizona. By far, this is worth it, especially if you get it on sale. There are definatly unique areas in this DLC, not "just more roads", but newer environments as well, even though there is still some of the same. I definatly recommend this to anyone who regularly plays ATS, and anyone who might be getting a little bored with the current roads. I expect Oregon will be of equal or higher quality when released, but for now NM is a leap in the right direction, and the best DLC realeased yet.

While it seems unnessasary, and it kind of is, I ended up loving it. I forgot how much it added, and when I went to see a friend, and he did not have this, I was very surprised to see how much less he had to use for customization. These are well done and can do a great job enhancing the looks of your custom truck. I recommend

Super challenging, and really frustrating. The controls can be rebound in the start menu, which I did,, and I think that helped, but it is very challenging to do more than understand. Movements can feel jerky, and aiming is problematic. However, I think that is what the game is supposed to be like. I do think you should try it, and you might like it, ecpecially if you have a friend to play it with. Despite what I started with, it is a fairly good game, and you should try it before ignoring it, as I havent really seen something like it before.

I have had a blast with this game. Coming from DiRT 3, it is definatly a step up. You get more control over customization to the car and there is actually a team of people you work with. There is a good amount of cars, and you can find a style that suits you. I have had no problems with the game, and everything has functioned perfectly. There is tutorials in the form of the Dirt Acadamy, where you can learn how to drive different versions of cars, and perform more complicated driving manuvers. I should mention that this game is not the successor to DiRT Rally, which is where many of the negative reviews have come from, because this game is less realistic that DiRT Rally, but much better than DiRT 3, which it was meant to be the successor to. I should mention that this game doesnt have splitscreen, something I loved about DiRT 3.

This game is cheap fun. The cartoony physics and the randomness make it a blast to play. It is simple but enjoyable. Highly recommend giving it a shot. I recommmend only getting the game if you have at least one other person you can talk with while playing, because that makes it so much better. Playing with others and not being able to talk and laugh wth each other definatly would make the game less enjoyable. Heck, I bought 3 copies for this reason.

Edit- Now I realised you can also do Multi-Seat (as BeamNG.drive calls it) with other people on one computer if you have more controllers (not keyboards). This makes it even better IMO, because you just need someone in your house to play instead of someone on another PC, somewhere else, on a second copy of the game. You can even mix it. Having two people on your PC, you and another, and still play with two others on different computers. Definatly worth it.
