Ok I think i have given this game much of my time so here are my views.

1: my first thought that the developers were very lazy!
Very annoying going from home to house to flats to hospital to police station to firehouse ALL duplicated rooms ( with 90% 0 loot) It really looks like they just copy and pasted rooms, homes and decorations because clearly they just couldnt be assed!

2: NO MAP
I mean come on seriously! yeh there is mods that you can put on your game (that itself is not easy) Myself and my husband spent hours trying to figure what time it was in game, where the sun was and try and meet up in game.

3: no option to spawn as team. My husband downloaded the game also so we both can play at the same time. Only to not spawn in the same place, no map to see where you are unless you are lucky to find a sign. it took me 10 hours to find him! I am not joking! Now that is 10 hours of surviving as the several attempts before (you die, you spawn at a random location)

4: you barely survive that first hour after spawning. Having lost all your items and starting off from scratch is really annoying ( my husband had a few choice words about that, its too rude to state here) a bit of fruit, a glowstick and a bandage.

5: no in game tips, in a normal rpg etc you get at least some advise on surviving but you have to esc, check the options etc or tab out, search online.

NOW DONT BE PUT OFF WITH MY RANT!

I have given this game a chance only with purchasing my own server and passwording it. ( nothing worse than a 12 year old killing you for a glowstick)
With having my own server I play at my own pace, I added a map on my server and that has made a huge difference in the game play itself. yes I have to still walk a long way to get the husband but at least i am not going in a circle.
We have not been lucky in fixing a vehicle as my husband doesnt know how to put water in a radiator and broke two cars.
Yes im still playing thanks to the videos on you tube.
