I really like this game tbh! I love collecting fish, collecting recipes, collecting the knock off Tamagachis, the fish fun facts you get! And I love running the restaurant! I think its got a good selection of different quests to focus on depending on the play-style you prefer. If I may make one request: Can the Flames be a little less harsh please? At least after the second location is unlocked I feel like only getting one angry customer between BOTH restaurants, it's painful to only get four flames from a 4.9 Star score for the night. At least tell me I only got 4 stars instead of 4.9. If you're not gonna round it up, I'd rather be told I only got 4 stars and that's why I only got 4 flames. I did a bit of math and iirc there are 21 staff characters, each one has their own recipe unlocked when they reach Lv 15 of training. Each of these recipes costs 15 flames to unlock, which means each recipe requires THREE 5 star nights to unlock, OR MORE if you're like me and your laptop lags and the stupid dirty dishes scare one customer away WHILE you are IN THE PROCESS OF CLEANING IT and then you only get 4 flames from a 4.9 Star score..... For all 21 of these recipes, costing 15 flames each, you need AT LEAST 105 dinner services, and that's only if you get a 5 star score ON EVERY ONE OF THEM!!! I'm trying my best cause I really do want to collect them all, but these numbers, man XP

Update: So I went back to try and complete more of the extra content when I saw they'd released an update with more levels, and I will say the variation and new mechanics are nice, I like having more animals to unlock, the fjord level in particular was challenging but rewarding, but the recycling drone is IMPOSSIBLE. Just get rid of the one that has to move through the water, I never have a problem with the flying drone or the monorail one and I actually like using the rock hopper to create monorail paths more than excavators to make extra rivers that just mess up the environment I spent so long working on. I cannot say how many times I retried the first side level that still uses the river drone. I put down the drone and it just doesn't move. I tried putting down the drone and then the recyclers,: it doesn't move. I tried putting down the recyclers and then the drone: it doesn't move. I exit the level, I exit the game, I restart the phase: no change. The river drone is unresponsive and there's no way for me to try redeploying it because you can't delete it or place another one. I just sit there, having collected my buildings for recycling, ready to end the level, staring at a drone that doesn't react. I think maybe TWICE it actually moved and both times it immediately got stuck. It didn't even make it to ONE recycler. Eventually I just gave up, but clearly there are systems for the drone that actually work, just use those, forget the water movement thing. Your very first and presumably easiest levels should not be the ones making me give up out of frustration when I KNOW the later ones don't because the drone can actually follow the monorail or the recycling beacons. On top of that, since I can't complete the level, I can't unlock the next one. I hate this boat drone. I remember having some problems with it before, but I feel like it's gotten worse. Do I have to put things down in a specific order? If so, it should mention that in the description of the machine.

So I just finished this game (the story part at least), and I'd say overall its pretty good. The end to the main plot was underwhelming, but I think that's partially because it was unexpected when I began playing and so interesting I started skipping by the hotel management parts just to progress the story line. If you're most interested in the management part of the game this shouldn't take away from that, though perhaps that strategy saved me from some issues other people had, as I basically gave up running the later hotels until I had unlocked at least some of the help staff. Personally I am hoping they'll still add more to the plot (especially after Barbara), or at least side quests to meet some of the other gods (and do more with Vlad, cause I like Vlad and we didn't get a lot to do with him), but I don't regret buying it. All of the characters had a lot of personality that didn't feel forced or shallow, and I had a lot of fun meeting them all.

The walk speed and collecting items didn't bother me very much, the only problem I had was much later in the game concerning iron plates, but it was an incremental issue, where I didn't have enough each day to craft ALL the items I wanted. If you like exploring the environment and collect the things you see as you go, this probably won't be a big inconvenience. I rarely ever ran out of materials other than cooking items. It took me way to long to find out you buy eggs, cheese, pasta etc at Ipswitch's shop though. I don't know if the game said this and I just didn't see it, or if they just expect you to find it if you're buying fuel (which I never did), but I didn't notice this until the Sous Vide Cheesecake quest

Some small technical things I'd like to see in the game, or if they're already there I couldn't figure out how to do them:
- a way to buy several of the same item at once: I used a lot of the same item for decorations for example and it was a little tedious clicking and moving each one to my inventory one at a time
- a way to grab one item from a stack or split stacks of the same item, specifically for cooking items: sometimes I want to make roast potatoes AND fries with the same stack of potatoes but I can't
- a way to check the ingredients for a recipe remotely: there aren't a lot of places to harvest food that aren't going to be close to a kitchen, but its still annoying, especially when you get the recipe cards and it really feels like you should be able to check those and see what ingredients you need from anywhere in the world
- a way to recycle or sell old items: this is one major issue I agree with other reviewers on
