TLDR: Fantastic short, linear story game. Highly recommended, especially on sale.

To note, I didn’t play the OG version, so I’m not influenced by nostalgia like some other reviews might be.

Even though the game is short, it builds its characters well and kept me entertained. The gunplay is just okay at best, and the driving mechanics are kind of meh (I’m looking at you, the "Fair Play" mission – that one almost made me quit).

All in all, I got the trilogy on sale for around $25 AUD, and at that price, I’d highly recommend this game if you want to bring out your inner bad guy. It’s even got me excited for their upcoming game!

I’ll definitely come back to 100% this at some point, but for now, I’m off to Mafia 2!

I picked up this game for a long weekend after a co-worker mentioned he was playing it. I'm almost done, just one stage away.

First off, I really enjoy the progression. Sure, it can feel a bit slow at the start of each stage, but once the automation kicks in, that's when it gets really fun.

The story, for me, is just okay—not really my thing, but I can see why others might enjoy it.

Overall, it’s an excellent game, and the demo is a great addition—that’s actually what convinced me to buy it.

Give the demo a try; it’s about 2 hours of content, and if you like it, the full game is definitely worth it!

I tried getting into Subnautica a few times but it never really clicked for me—until now. Over the past week, it's basically all I've played! Once you get into base-building, the game really starts to take off.

Exploring new areas and getting chased by massive sea monsters is alot of fun!

The base-building is definitely my favorite part. There's just something so satisfying about creating your own underwater base. .

Overall, it’s a solid 20-30 hour game that I highly recommend."

An amazing emotional story, trying to hold your eyes open to keep the memory going and not having control, is such a unique storytelling experience.

Excellent game with an awesome story, but it might be best to wait for a sale due to its slightly high cost.

-Can become repetitive over time
-Steep price, but worth it on sale
-Forced stealth, though understandable given the game 'Ghost'.

TLDR: 8/10 game excellent story, mechanics are great (I played controller) + made me tear up ;).

Firstly let me get into the story, the story had me confused for the first 10 or so hours, i was flying around aimlessly just reading random conversations, but eventually it all started to come together, let me say once you start putting the story together that crave to know more will begin!

The story had me so captivated so the point at work, driving and even talking to loved ones the story was playing in my mind asking myself questions. It's amazing that the game managed to unleash a level of curiosity i didn't know i had! The story get's a 9/10 superb story telling!

The mechanics are great, flying the ship is so seamless! I really enjoyed having my little ship and zooming around space!

Lastly i will admit i had to use a guide for a few parts of the story, it can at parts be confusing, but using a guide like IGN or asking questions on r/outerwilds can be very beneficial!

-edit: The music still is one of the best soundtracks i have ever heard, i have the soundtrack on spotify and find myself vibing the music giving me chills!
