For 0,79 cents, you get what it says, a very simple memory game thats aiming to train your abillity to memorize, and if you are aiming for perfect scores on the highest difficulty, thats more than a fair price. after that, you can still decide if you want to buy some of the expansion packs, which I guess, just refreshes the basic ideas.

I'll start with all the downsides and negative aspects:

-yes, it is another dopaminsimulator and there is surely alot of critique you can bring up against these type of games; I like them, as much as I hate them, for all the cheap tricks they are using, but anway.
-There is metaprogression (some like it, others dont) and you unlock everything here so fast, that I'd even say, it needs a 33% up to 50% nerf to a degree, that it doesnt feel like, you are rushing everything throu.
-Some tooltips are unclear or even confusing (at least for my taste), until you find out what they truely do.
In some aspects, it needs some clearfication of some values, like attackspeed / cooldowns / chances and such but to be fair, that might take away some of the atmosphere.
-In terms of balance, there are some little things, that needs to be look at, but nothing cruecial.
ok a bigger example might be a case of fuseing level 3 (or possed) minions into a stronger one, to some degree, I feel its sometimes unclear, whether that is actually better or not, since you can lose quiet alot of utillity doing that. then again, its a thing of clearfication (with numbers/text and such). a good upgrade in text to the compendium might be the solution.

now to all the good things:

-the pixelart is great and looks polished
-ost and all the sounds playing are good and chill (for the most part)
-controlls are good and crispy and the (important) hitboxes feel fair.
-good amount of minions and items, not to few, not to much.
-it has this unique mechanic, where you can actually place items on the map or graveyard, that influence enemys at least a little bit. they surely need to put some work into it, giving players more options in there choices + fixing the pumpkin head, so it regenerates after the first explosion.

Conclusion: I give it a straight 9/10, since it is already very polished, even tho, I must say, I could also be blinded by all the dopamin it releases. -1 because there are some little things that needs to be look at but anway. for the competitive part of climbing up the leaderboards, this game has the same issues as all of these games; it is not truely based on skill, more on luck and rng of what spells, relics and minions the game throws at you. so in the end, it becomes rather brainless grinding of "how good of rng can I get ?".

Another dopaminsimulator, where you barely can say, why its fun or a good game.
Metaprogression here is rather not existend, even more if you found out the trick to farm alot of orbs.
There is surely some curiousity when you dont know, what all the evolved weapons do, which keeps you motivated to some degree, but after that, it becomes a grindfest (guess if you look for rankings, its basend on luck/rng) like all the other dopaminsimulators. I recommend it here, because a thumb showing to the left, isnt possible.

You have to pay a price if you wanna play this game.
The optics are very minimalistic, a huge amount of the monsters doesnt look good and the sound is absolutely terrible, the writing of the story is bad and very skippable, so thankfully, you can enjoy some minutes of the music before you mute the sound completly, I highly doubt that someone will come to another conclusion.

But what you get is a very complex teambuilding with a ton of options, that part is a sure 10/10, at least for me.

In the end, you grind crafting material, uprade you items, spells and level your monsters, try out different teams and playstyles and then, you grind more, thats about it. A bit into the game, you can add pentalties to a run, in five different levels, the greater the penalties, the greater the reward.
So if you like (braindead) grinding, you have to pay the price of bad or at least mediocre optics and bad (muted) sounds and music, but what you get is a very complex monsterteambuilder with a huge amount of possible playstyles.

Casual players *can* enjoy it, but I rather suggest it to hardcore-players.

This game surely has some down sites but it looks fantastic.
Perfect eye-candy for casual play sessions.
