The world looks great. The towering Corps plaza, V's H8 building, the dancing holograms telling you to buy juice, all looks amazing. the problem, however, is that the interaction with it is minimal. I'm not talking about the story and side missions because they do fill up a decent amount of time. its when you've finished everything and all that's left is the world itself. you're left with the buggy police spawns and lacivious civilian AI. it's just not fun to interact with outside of mission boundaries. unlike the GTA games where you can spend 70% of your time just in the open world causing mayhem, you just cant do it in this game, it just won't let you. If you have no intentions to play this outside of the missions, then you'll still get some fun out of it. just be careful you don't go looking for it in the open world.

Another great lightsaber game for the VR collection. The game gives you plenty of levels to understand the fundamentals of the game but I really enjoyed the endless mode, as it allows you to customize the amount of bots as well as the types of *beams?* that come at you. on the higher difficulties, with the 8 max bots, it really does become an intense exercise. You've really gotta challenge that inner Obi-wan Kenobi. As a lightsaber game, its on par with Beat Saber and modded Blade and Sorcery. Definitely worth a pick up.

If you've ever played games like Ultimate Spiderman then the cell shader design of the city is amazing to explore in VR. The powers, of which there are 5, are all unique and bring new movement options to the table. Best of all, they are interchangeable and combinable with one another, meaning you can fly through the city on a path of ice boosting yourself with the thruster hand or pulling yourself to greater speeds off nearby buildings like spiderman on a chariot. My favorite so far is the Doc Oc arms, which are great to look at, and honestly stomping them into the ground and raising yourself 10 feet off the ground is pretty enjoyable. The web-slinging is decent, the physics of pulling take a while to acclimate to but its satisfying to get some airtime between 2 close buildings and narrowly scrape the top of buildings. The city is full of opportunities to use these powers for combat too, with robots of all shapes and sizes causing destruction and making fun of your hair and spandex on rooftops, streets, and alleys. The city itself is BIG. For a VR game, its impressive. While there are only a few challenge tasks to do, like races, if you are entertained by zooming through the city as iron man, Frozone, Spiderman, Birdman (obviously from the Michael Keaton Movie), or Doc Oc then its still worth a pick up. Best part about this whole thing is that you can swing around spouting spiderman one-liners at the robots as you whiz past them.

Really makes you feel like Spiderman-Batman-John Wick

A bit lacking in the soundtrack department, not quite matching the intensity of later moments in the game, though an easy fix is to pull up the high school musical 3 soundtrack.

Really enjoy the premise of this game, waited patiently for its release as soon as I found it existed. Can I recommend it here and now, with the game the way it is, and for its price? I cannot.

30 dollars is a lot of money for 30 minutes of gameplay, and while plenty of discussions talk about how its a sandbox game and you set your own goals, like fully exploring the map, building your little house and doing missions and everything, that excuse works well on a game that doesnt ask for this much money.

Definitely potential behind this game, and as it early access content is sure to come out down the road, so it would probably be best to wait for that.
