Waghoba is a minor deity in Hindu mythology, associated with the forest and wildlife. He's often depicted as a powerful, half-man, half-tiger creature, with the body of a man and the head and claws of a tiger.
Waghoba is said to be the guardian of the forest and its creatures, and is worshipped by some tribal communities in India. He's also associated with the god Shiva, and is sometimes considered an aspect of Shiva himself. Not much is known about Waghoba, as he's a relatively obscure figure in Hindu mythology.
