As a new fan of the Yakuza series, I've become addicted, because of 0. If you want an example of what I consider amazing storytelling, this is it. Please don't be like me, and sleep on this series. Check it out, as soon as you can. The memes don't do it justice!

I wish I could play the missions from Hitman 2, because I own the Gold Edition. And even after making an IOI account, and connecting it to my Steam, it confirming that I own Hitman 2, I still had to buy the DLC to get the Hitman 2 levels. And after I got the Hitman 2 levels, it confirmed that I had all of the Gold Edition bonuses, except for New York & Haven Island. To make this clear: I can play Patient Zero, the Sniper missions, and all of the other things that are available after purchasing the Hitman 2 Deluxe Edition DLC, even if I don't own it, in World of Assassination. Otherwise, I recommend this game, on sale. A D E E P discounted sale.

The platforming is a lot of fun and challenging, the music is amazing, and the animation style, you can tell has a LOT of attention to detail to it. If you need more to sell you on this game, I recommend watching some gameplay. You'll probably see what I'm talking about, then.

Overall, my rating is: 10/10. If there's not a sequel to this, I don't think that'd be a bad thing, but I look forward to whatever this dev cooks up, next. (Pun not intended.)

I remember being hopeful for this game. It was a fun time, for what it was. But I can't recommend this game, anymore. The devs have shown that they haven't learned a thing, from PD2: started with very few heists? That's understandable. Every heist having a "stand in the circles" minigame? Eh, they're trying to move away from drills, so I'll label it as "an attempt." The levels being tied to "challenges?" That was an idea, that shouldn't have made it out of the testing phase. I don't understand how any of that lasted as long as it did. And before anyone forgets how this was a bad idea: Imagine you could go through a heist, and not get a single level, unless you got enough kills with your gun, to fulfill a challenge, (EG: get 1,000 kills with a single gun) or that one completion of a heist, out of 40 times, on Overkill difficulty, at least. There were a plethora of things that this game left unfulfilled, and it sucks that these changes didn't come sooner. You know what some people were saying, when they added the Cook Off heist? "The devs didn't learn a thing, from Payday 2." was a common sentiment. And I can't help but agree with them. In other words: Don't get this game. It may be better, now. But as someone that's spent a lot of hours in Payday 2, and was looking forward to 3, it couldn't stick the landing. And it fumbled so hard, until about half a year ago, as of August 22nd, 2024. I don't want to give any of the devs hate. I'm sure they spent a lot of blood, sweat and tears, on this game. But I can't support it, anymore.

As much as I've gotten annoyed at some of the bugs and glitches, I can't help but love this game. Larian Studios has really made a wonderful gem of a game, and I can't recommend this one enough. PLEASE consider checking it out.
