amazing survival pvpve experience, pure vanilla official is very hard for beginners, start with community servers and download the dayz sa launcher, modded support means every type of player can find something they like, proximity chat leads to some funny moments, just don't be one of those guys who plays on deep fried graphics to gain an advantage, and dont be surprised when you crash your car due to lag, Bohemia cant fix it for their lives

Edit: as of 2025 the cheater problem in official (for OCE atleast) is out of control, 80% of deaths are from a cheater kill commanding the server, other regions further from china have less cheaters, there are workaround to an extent, official asia servers (especially high population) are rampant, a work around ive had luck with is simply not playing dayz from 6pm-2am China Standard Time (CST), until Bohemia does something i suggest sticking to community servers where admins can ban cheaters.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ W of a game, the sheer contrasts between action and storytelling alone are something most games struggle to do, and don't get me started on the sheer number of choices and substituent endings you can get encourage you to think about your choices as if it was you in the game.

Where do i begin?
As an average aviation enjoyer with almost 1000 hours combined in simpleplanes, juno, and ksp. This game was that one thing that scratched my designing itch, sure its VERY hard to learn all the features but once you take your time, look at some tutorials, and of course join the discord, you will be in for a very fun time. this game IS NOT for those who want a quick arcade-ish plane game. this game is for people whos designing expertise has outgrown the limits of simpleplanes and juno and need a way to design in greater details. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AS YOUR FIRST PLANE BUILDING GAME

4 hours in and this is already an 8/10 and i barely know what to do
