been following the development of this game for a long time and now that its here its everything i wanted and more. the movement is fluid and rewarding, the art style and brilliant graffiti done by talented artists is breathtaking to say the least, i could go on and on. this game is well worth it <3 xoxo

The game is fast, a lot of fun, and not to complicated w good potential but it has a few issues i tinks :3

☆ the game needs an item/upgrade log. Its handy to theory craft what you can get and achieve w different loads

☆ cryo core is just wayyyyyy to strong. The upgrades that increase crit chance vs frozen targets (up to 60%) and increase crit damage of frozen targets (up to 85% i thinks) is just way to strong especially w a fairly common dash upgrade that guarantees a freeze. Its insane p much guaranteed damage vs enemies that cant even fight back. Def could use a number values change or tbh the removal of the guaranteed freeze dashs.

☆ on the topic of freeze dashes the ice trail variant is just bugged. The trail at times appears underground missing enemies completely (this seems to be stage dependent. I encountered it on the sewer levels before the 2nd boss) and sometimes it doesn't appear at all. the ice burst one is leagues better anyways

☆ the rerolls that you can get from the skill tree are a little broken. Making it to consistent to get cryo core way to early into the game. I have 6 hours in the game and i have all 5 rerolls. And even if you dont abuse cryo core it allows you to lean into your core so easy. I think the rolls should be reduced to 3 or have them be harder to earn

☆ the guaranteed revive is wayyyyy to strong especially compared to anything in its section of the skill tree. Tbh i think it should be changed to another sort of healing chance to be more on par w the other choices. Or if you do want to lean into the revive mechanic id say a revive chance % would be interesting

☆ all the energy charging items are not weak they’re just useless. The base mp gain value needs to be higher. Its ok and expected to have weaker items in a rougelite but they need some value even if mild or situational

☆ i feel that gaining run consistency seems to a little to easy early on w the friendship boosts being easy to come by and the skill tree in the reroll category being a little to early to get and max out. There needs to be some consistency upgrades to get yes but a rouge lites fun also comes from the inconsistency of drops. Having to at times change playstyle and leaning into what items and upgrades you do get is a big source of fun and challenge for players like me.

Overall the game is a lot of fun. I dont enjoy hack and slashy games to much but i had a surprising amount of fun. Theres plenty of potential and im excited to see the games continued growth my fav character is Darcy :3 fast characters w ability cooldown resets on kill are just so fuuuuuuuuuunnnn

Games as epic and thrilling as the day it left. good nostalgia buy. hope you like carpel tunnel (seriously get a double clicker/ auto clicker)

Its nice. Its not therapy or medication, but some positive vibes, insight, shared experiences and new experience goes a long way. having to write out my own advice to so many people also forces me to take my own advice more often lol. It feels nice to be a part of the club. <3
