I have almost 1000 hours in this game and have been playing it since release. I cannot take the constant spammers and sweats who play this game. It has ruined it for me. I have played almost solely rankied because its the only thing that was challenging. I cannot make it out of gold, the skill gap between mid to high gold and plat is ridiculous. Not to mention 90% of the time you play diamonds in that ranking. I have tried different legends and different play styles, nothing works. While all you face is lance and battle axe spammers. They add cosmetics but dont balance the stupidly broken weapons (axe and lance) while adding more people who use those weapons. I have never played a game more toxic or harming to mental health and thats saying alot. I WANT to play the game because it IS fun to try and get better and better, I have supported the devs and bought tons of cosmetics because they are cool an different. But I have finally given up on ever going past gold rank and there for its just not worth playing to me. I will probs come back to it someday but I just cant take that pure rage that fills me when I try to play this game. Not being able to progress ruins the game and makes it not worth playing. Maybe when they make some kind of balance changes or cool downs on heavy attacks i'll come back but till then its just not enjoyable. Maybe I just suck but id think for this many hours i'd know how to play the game. To those who continue to play and struggle against the ranking system, to you I say good luck.
