Took a ton of the fun out of Xrd in order to make it appeal to a wider audience.
In effect, it took away everything that made Guilty Gear the fast paced combo/oki oriented game it used to be.
Heavuly nerfed airdash, knockdowns, oki, jumpcancel moves, disjoints (unless you're nago), airdashes and even outright removed aircombos, and instant kills. These are all of the things that made Guilty gear fun in the long term.

however If you're new to fighting games this will be a thrill. Definitely a great place to start
I just cant recommend the this game to anyone who is going to be into fighting games and expect a ton of reward for their hours.
To me, it takes the whole series to a completely different turn at the cost of its gameplay Identity that its had for the past 25 years.
