This is a redo of my review of isonzo, since the first one is outdated in both content and opinion.

Isonzo is a good game that is in need of polish, refinement and a clear vision. It follows in the steps of Verdun and Tannenberg while trying to improve the formula but also brings its own sets of issues.
There's only a singular gamemode. It is a fun mode, but maps vary heavily in quality and the hazardous spawning can make the experience fustrating especially for new players.
The classes, while indeed filling a role, leave a lot to be desired in options and depth. You also need to unlock equipement and perks through challenges so that means there's a grind to the game (the base loadout is serviceable enough tho).
The gameplay is solid but weird elements were put into the game for "immersion", even tho isonzo is an arcade shooter. It include bandages, a point of aim de-synced from the center of the screen and arm hitzones to name a few.
The game is very finicky with imputs and is full of animations. Be prepared to die often blowing the whistle has an officer.
The server have a not so acceptable tick rate, which means a better ping is a real advantage.
Some bugs are still present and can sometime cause a lot of trouble (automatic end of the game for example), but most of the time they are just silly.
There's virtually no cheating has the playerbase is very small. You will however not have any troubles finding servers, especially in the evening and on weekends if you are a EU player in my experience.
Questionable ethics in regards to the multiplication of cosmetic DLC packs, although they don't necessarily offer an advantage over what is "free".
Finally, nothing to say really on the setting and graphics, has their both quite good.

6.5/10 solid but could do better.
