One of the worst chapters, hands down. The skull merchant is a new low for killer design, dull, uninspiring and with a power that is so far from what amounts to fun gameplay.

It honestly seems like the only reason for this killer to be in the game is to make money off of her aesthetic, which to be honest, isn't even that appealing. Her backstory is pretty lackluster as well and she just doesn't seem to mesh well with DBD itself. She's just a killer that has sex appeal, and that's probably one of the worst kinds to have in the game. Her power is insanely obnoxious and every single match plays out exactly the same. Spawn in, she sets up drones on a 3 or 4 gen, nobody gets to break it because she never leaves that area to chase, 3 or 4 gens get popped in 5 minutes and then for the next 45 minutes the game slows down to a crawl as the team cannot break the 3 gen and you eventually give up because it's an exercise in futility. All skull merchants play the same, played against one, you've played against them all.

The survivors are alright. In no way are they good enough to merit buying this chapter though. Also, you can buy them with shards since they're original content, so if you really want them I'd recommend doing just that. Their perks aren't super impactful, they're fun but you won't win more by having them.

Also got the shelter woods map update which seems like its a W until you realize that it has insane 3 or 4 gen setups 100% of the time. Almost every match I've played on this map the killer tries to 3 gen. The only matches where this doesn't happen is against nurse, blight, huntress, etc. Personally, I still dislike shelter woods but I can see the appeal to it. But buying this chapter doesn't give you access to this map anyways, so again, another point against buying it.

This is an easy skip of a chapter. It is such a disappointment in basically every way. Don't waste your money on this chapter, it fails to deliver any sort of fun experience for either side. Even playing as the skull merchant is an exercise in boredom, because she doesn't do anything particularly well, so you end up with a killer that has a completely overloaded kit, but is subpar at every single thing the kit does, except for premeditated 3 gen strategies. This chapter feels rushed - like they just slapped things together and put the product out, hoping it would do well. It definitely does not feel like it has the finesse that some previous chapters or even paragraphs have.
