tldr: It's a decent experience, you should try the campaign, multiplayer not entirely dead but can consider now since there only 1 community EU server running which you will get very skilled players and high ping connection. (I'm a SEA player)

This review is for campaign only.

A very different take on experience of Battlefield, and I personally like it. You could say the game is like an crime tv series (dev even bother to make a short recap video in each episode if you quit or resume midway). Graphic dated but still looking good. The destruction lesser compare to other military BF but definitely still more than BF 2042. Gameplay feel immersive (It's da sound of police). Gunplay is okay, though it feel same same at gun sound (I barely use every gun, because I can't play multiplayer, plus I could stealth almost all in campaign). But some problem exists:
- Not directly boot to game menu: yes, game open your browser with a website call Battlelog which you could customize your game and stats before entering game (old tech for old bf games), not so friendly
- Graphic bug: plenty of glitch, not game breaking
- Nonsense part: main character have too much handcuff, I literally could handcuff a whole mansion full of guards lol :)

Good game, I would play campaign again at Hardline difficulty.

Shorter than the main Half-life and first expansion, but everything is perfectly fine. The good thing is, there are some people really make it out alive. I always think no one survive through Black Mesa.

It's short and contain some technical issue. But with someone who interest in story of Black Mesa like me, you will feel long enough to get the tense.

It's crazy how this game make me feel better than most of fps game nowaday where they add rpg-element in it.
Deep story telling with no instruction on how to proceed, you are the main character, you have to figure out.
Multiple new weapon including some weird alien one.
Jump scare still exist (fr head crab jump straight to your face in dark tunnel or a group of them stay in dark corner, f*ck that really freak me out).

Guess I'm gonna play Blue Shift next.

You can't get any better Hong Kong world like this one. Beautiful price at sale, only problem is no cloud save.

Well, not really a Payday clone, but you play long enough or just a mission, you see exact the same (animation, task in-game, bot behavior,...) Because the game feel like Payday so it not good, but not bad. It just in life support too soon while Payday still get improvement through time.

This just got new update, hope they add "AI teammate can carry mission objective" in the future for less frustration when play solo.
If you want a differrent background than Payday (kill Nazi lol) then this quite fine. Get it on sale.

There is happiness in story, at least for me after go through 0 and kiwami.

It truly a gem in my gaming experience. I never play a final fantasy game before, only know them as some of characters got print in notebook when I was a child. The story, character designs, they all well made, especially CG cutscenes (this never get old). Same with soundtrack (The Sunleth Waterscape go brrrr). The exploration is linear. The battle gameplay is kinda hard. A fast-paced combat strategy where you make chain of actions in real-time. Your game is over when the character you control out of health. Because of that, every second in battle is matter (I mess up a lot).
Note: Don't rush, unless you can handle it, or else the game could turn to hell (I died around 20-30 times when I played and I'm not finish yet)

But, to get a faithful experience, you need some work. The PC port is bad enough to make you put a thumbdown for this one. I recommend "Fixing and enhancing Final Fantasy XIII" guide from Surihix. Follow the guide and you can get rid most of problems, bonus modding which make the game more beautiful.
