My friends and I went insane after we accidentally bought 5 boxes of apple juice. In the end we had 10 shelves full of nothing but apple juice and we're still surprisingly in the green.

For anyone complaining that the game doesn't appear after launching it:
For some stupid reason the game window doesn't open automatically, and you have to alt-tab to it yourself.

I finished this game in about 3 weeks so I could watch the funny videos and memes on YouTube and Reddit. I regret that because this is one the best games ever and I'm now sick of playing it 'cause I played it too much.

Amazing game. 11/10.

On July 12, 2021, I put this game down for a reason I don't remember.
After downloading it once more I remember why.

This game is the ultimate information overload. You will be micromanaging hundreds of tiny little things all at once. From your army to your airforce to your navy. And you will need to navigate hundreds of different UIs and windows to manage all of these things so your country doesn't fart itself to death.

10/10. Would play again, but if I kept playing I'd be unemployed.

Okay listen, this game is far from what it was long ago. Long time fans of Insurgency remember the more tactical and serious tone, but to be honest, the new stuff is pretty fun. And even with the new stuff, the game still retains some of that grit and hardness up until now.

Gunplay is the best I've seen in years, and should be the main selling point when playing this game.

Get it while on sale, amazing game.

Played this game a ♥♥♥♥ ton back in the day. Probably will try to finish it and finally get the Lugermorph. To be honest when playing I didn't even know poker, I just kept winning by blessings from God. Shame it got delisted.

Let's be honest, you're not buying this game for the story or for the gameplay. You're buying it because the worldbuilding for this game is awesome. Giant mechs fighting alongside soldiers in the 1920s, and the visualization of it. This game isn't the best, and enjoying it from a gameplay standpoint is somewhat frustrating sometimes, as you watch the AI make questionable tactics that would make charges across No Man's Land look like a good idea. But if you're here to see cool worldbuilding and mechs, then you're in for a treat.

Think of the original Half-Life like an old, well-loved T-shirt.
You've made lots of memories with it, and no doubt people have had the same experience with a t-shirt of their own. But you've got to admit, it's old, it's dated, it's better kept for memories.

Black Mesa is a new shirt. It's brand spanking new. You love it, and you think it looks good. You're definitely going to use it a lot, just like the old one.

Now if you're going out to buy groceries, which shirt would you rather wear?

I loved it when the liquidators went: "It's liquidating time!" and bravely risked their lives to save humankind from one of the worst nuclear disasters in history. Truly one of the moments ever.
