DRG is a amazing Live service fps with no ucky monetization in it(more on that later). the basic gameplay loop consists of choosing one of several mission types, fighting bugs and mining minerals, and then using those minerals to upgrade your dwarf when your back on your super cool spaceship.

The missions themselves are amazing in their variety and there's not a single one I outright dislike. the combat itself doesn't seem like much to right home about at first, but the insane variety from upgrades, classes, and the 20 (soon to be 24) weapons make exploring and mastering the system a blast. Once you've mastered a class enough you get to "promote" your class and get to unlock overclocks, a way to completely change your weapons or just get a small boost to it, along with a entire new mission type, deep-dives. These change weekly and are much harder, longer, and brutal then your normal missions.

All that being said the developers somehow manage to do this amazingly without screwing up in all the ways live service models usually do, you got fomo? no worry's you can get cosmetics after the battle pass expires(battle pass is free btw). can't seem to complete the deep dives to get the overclocks? no worry's you can do easier weekly missions to get them too. overall deep rock galactic is an amazingly crafted game that rewards skill and dedication while still letting all the more casual players progress in the games deep mechanics.

Having just finishing psychonauts 2 all I can say is that i see no reason not to buy it, the only glitch I came across in the play-through was a small acheivment bug that is already being fixed. Psychonauts 2 is the worthy successor to the first game and the only thing I dont like about it is that there isnt more
