Due to licensing and agreements with our partners, Forza Horizon 4 will be delisted from digital platforms (Microsoft Store and Steam) on December 15, 2024. This means the game and its additional content will no longer be available for purchase through online stores.

Yes, you will still be able to enjoy playing the game, including its multiplayer and online functions. Players who already own the game and its content will be able to download and play it as normal, including its offline, online, and multiplayer features; physical copies of the game purchased after this date will also work and will be able to use online features.

I can't recommend this game enough. It is 100% worth the purchase on sale. And if you think you will enjoy this title just a little, I would highly recommend the Ultimate Edition, especially since it will be de-listed and not repurchase-able.
Note: You can NOT upgrade to the Ultimate Edition from the base game. You have to re-buy

Here is what the game offers that i find to be really enjoyable.
  • Seasons: That's right. This game changes seasons, so you are always driving in diverse weather.

  • Lego DLC: Part of Ultimate Editon One of the coolest DLC for any Lego fan with a map that is built out of Lego blocks! As well as vehicles that are built in Legos!

  • Map: The map is very diverse, with mountain ranges, beaches and rural areas. There is always something new to keep it fresh. And with the seasons mentioned above, it just gives you a perfect combination.

  • Community: With a peak of 55 thousand players as of this review, it's safe to say that the multiplayer, and community aspect of the game is thriving!

  • Fortune island DLC: I have not put many hours in this DLC yet, but when I was doing research I heard it was a little lack luster. However the first look I had with it, was enough to say it is definitely worth it, and deserves an added reason to buy the Ultimate Edition

All details from de-listing came from Microsoft.

1.0. The update alot of people didn't want, but the update that needed to happen.

First of all, I get it.

I completely understand why some people are upset at this update, but I also can see why this update had to happen.

The game before this update was janky.

It was laggy and unstable in frames.

The graphics looked old in some areas, and just didn't fit.

What this update did was create a clean slate for future advancements in development. It smoothed alot of animations, redesigned models, and just made the entire world flow.

Now let's dive into what this update really addressed.

  • Performance: The performance before this update was unstable. You would get low fps in large cities due to windows rendering everything in. It was stuttery, and it was at times unplayable for some. What this update did was add alot of optimizations, including windows not rendering everything from an afar distance.

  • Animations: Character animations had a complete overhaul. Jumping, running, sneaking, even animal animations! You name it, it all looks better and smoother. Some things still did not get updated, like shooting animations, or scope animations(plz fix)

  • Graphics: Man, what a great overhaul this section got. From new models for vehicles, some weapons, animals and more! The whole world finally comes together without looking like 2 generations of graphics piled into one.

  • The future: For reason, I believe this update needed to happen. There have been plans in the making for some years now for bandits and other content, and I personally feel that this update makes it more possible for that to happen. I can only imagine that the bandits would have looked like some PS2 models, and the animation less to be desirable. But now this update will pave the road for their new roadmap, and I am excited to see what goes from there.

7 days to die. A game where you are not just going to the threat, but the threat comes to you (every 7 days default setting)

After playing on 16.4 and a light modded 21.1, I've developed an overall opinion, and I want to share it with you in this review.

Gameplay:
The game has a way of keeping you active. Let me express more on this. You will find yourself constantly looting and gathering resources to prepare for the next hoard night. You won't want to waste daylight, and you will find ways to manage your days/nights to be the most productive. You will be looting to progress your research (magazines that unlock better gear 'more on this later'). You will be farming resources to make ammo, and you will be thinking of new base designs to fight the hoard. There is always something to do before the hoard night, and the game is always keeping you on your feet. I personally love this in a survival game. It encourages you to keep looting, and keep fighting.

System mechanics:
Oh man there is a lot to talk about on this subject. I will start with what we mention above. Magazine level up system. Or known as "Learn by reading" system. Seems to be one of the most controversial changes in 7dtd updates, and i can see why. It removes some of the satisfying level up on the basic game functions, like mining for better levels on the tool you are using. Now you just find magazines, and once you have learned enough, you learn to craft the better item. Now i don't hate this function all the way, but I would like to see some satisfaction in using a tool to level up. I think there could be a best in both worlds here. Now moving on from the leveling systems, let's talk about over all

character animations:
I would like to point out that this will all change in 1.0, but i am purely writing this for the versions I mentioned above. The animations for moving, jumping, and swinging an ax are not the most pleasing. At times, it can feel stiff, or just not satisfying to look at. It's not game changing, but it does feel outdated. Speaking of character flaws, let's talk about

Vehicle physics:
To be honest, this one surprised me. Cars and bikes don't feel terrible. Don't get me wrong, there are some things that could be better, but it's not bad. My biggest problem is the fact you can steer with your mouse, and if you change it (left click mouse) you can use a keyboard, but it seems when you do that the turning is more stiff. This is more likely a niche opinion.

Zombie AI:
Enough system mechanics. Let's talk about zombie AI. The zombies actually feel really good. Other than the fact that zombies can sometimes just stumble towards you after landing a hit on one, forcing you to take damage, they actually are pretty good. BUT there are still cons in my end. I love the idea that zombies target weak spots, but it also removes the immersive hoard idea, that they all just surround your building gnawing at it. This also means you can make what's called a "cheese base" where they loop one way and are never able to adapt and get you. My personal overall opinion is I would like to see diversity. Majority go for the weak spot, but others are just trying other ways, to give that swarm feel. I would like to also see more roaming zombies, as of now it feels a little lackluster, to the point that i modded more in.

Overall, I have really enjoyed this game, and I would consider it one of the best zombie survival games.

I am looking forward to trying 1.0, where it will more likely change some of my outlooks. Hope this review helped. Consider liking it if you agree with anything I've mentioned, or if it helped you buy the game or not.

To be honest most of my gameplay came from modding. I don't think I've ever really "played" the game

Amazing fun with or without friends!

could not recommend this game enough, if hunting or even simulators in general is your kind of thing then this game you will find to be one of the best out there. loads of animals, loads of dlc maps with fair pricing, and loads of guns to try out! you will find yourself admiring the scenery and enjoying every step of it.

PS. the animal ai can sometimes be... well interesting to say the least.. but its not a huge problem and not a game breaker. just here and there you may find an animal doing something it would never do in the real world.

after having some fun times messing in editor mod i came here to lay down my review for the free version of this game first off if you want to see my thoughts on the explore DLC that they also have feel free to check it out with that said lets just jump into it. 1st, the editor mode is built fairly nicely kinda like minecraft world edit or terraria edit software, but built into the game itself, it feels odd if at first but you learn to get used to the camera and placements pretty fast, i personally use it to A. practice for my builds in survival, or B. just to see what great things i can build with my creative side, after all is'nt this game big on creativity? i have not messed whit the other game modes that other people have made (btw yes you can make your own mini games for the community or your self and friends) so i wont get into detail with that how ever i will go into suggestions putting me at 2nd. first, why not put creative items into blueprints so you can build them in your survival? i understand the side where if you put none craft able items in but that can be avoided by A. warning saying you cant add to blueprints due to restricted block, or B. just not adding it into the blueprint when you build it, now i understand easier said then done, how ever these changes will be a very appreciative to i would assume most of the community.

[PS] to the people calling this game a freemium or down voting because (i have to rent servers) first do research before crying, and also what is the big deal to make the creative side free? the main point is the explore but why not grow the creative community as well?

alright after playing for some time im here to lay down my input: 1st resources This game needs some revamping with the survival, i like how ores are no longer on beginner islands but why are simple ores so rare? such as iron and copper, this needs to be changed, i understand the iron not spawning is a bug but thats gotta be fixed soon..no one wants to spend 5hs exploring to find out iron is lacking big time, and no wants to go to level 3 islands so they can get beginner gear.. you kinda need that gear to survive it. i think a good way to fix this is to add more rare gear and ores, and level 3 islands should mainly have rare ores with some normal ones mixed in, you should also be able to get iron copper and coal on level 1 and 2 islands. Now with all that aside lets get deeper in with things that need fixing: 2nd hostile npcs now we want a threat this is a survival game for crying out loud, but why does it feel more like a hoard of zombies? 5 polar bears chasing you because they all wanna roam right that is not fun.. it needs to be more one on one combat where your not just getting flooded but you also want a chance to survive and from different things then just bears. i know there is tribal nbc and what not but it seems if the snow Yland is lacking some lively threat. it feels more or less like a hoard of zombies with a repetitive fear of being surrounded by them. i dont get this feel as much as other Ylands its mainly just the snow one that is lacking. Now with all this npc talk lets dig a little dipper.. caves. again, 10 polar bears or 5 wolfs in a tunnel aint cool there needs to be a balance, its repetitive survival for just grinding ores. there needs to be more to the caves, maybe even random generated ores that you have to dig for, as well as being able to dig into another mine shaft, maybe even hidden boss arenas you can acciedentally run into now we dont want this game to be a laggy mess so it would have to some how be done with out dropping frames. now i know this review/things that need to be worked out is getting a little long but just bare with me, there is a 3rd the worlds it needs more, now i heard someone mention they plan on maybe making a way to teleport to another realm {would be dope} but it would need to be away to move through realms with the gear you bring via ships or etc. maybe make it to where you have to clear a wave and fight a boss to even enter other words make it for end game so you can grind the first map and not just rush out.
over all really enjoying the game besides some minor things that are bothering me, will still play the game as it is and learn it but it really does lack some content over all i recommend this game if you are wanting to see how this game progress and or if you enjoy survival games. i hope this game does well and over all pumped to see next few updates for the explore mode.
