Company of Heroes, one of the greatest games i have had the pleasure of playing. This game is literally the core of WW2 strategy games, and it has been with me since my early childhood. The game features an ASTOUNDING american campaign starting at the beaches of Normandy. This campaign shows many greats perspectives as of the allies retaking France. I do however feel like they missed an opportunity with the difficulty settings. As of now, the highest difficulty setting is "expert", the ones before it "hard, medium, easy" are deffo a joke. I feel like they could have made a "realistic" setting here. This comes from a person which has completed every single campaign on "expert", earned every medal there is to unlock (including the 350 axis casualties on the "Carentan CC" on expert difficulty).

The games also offer amazing DLC's that contain access to new armies in multiplayer such as the british, or the infamous panzer elite. They also come with a couple of cool campaigns featuring the british and german sides of the 2nd WW.

The multiplayer is rather balanced as of my opinion, though noobs will tend to blob common units such as the american engineers, the panzer elite's grenadiers, or the infamous american riflemen (Kevin's favourite). The multiplayer allows for variety in strategy, and fun with friends and such. Though, as with all games, there are a couple of imbalances and some factions are downright OP. The british for example will usually set up 45 MM Pounders near your base, together with trenches and bunkers to protect them. At that point, kiss your base goodbye.

They have also introduced "skirmishes" where you can do different opperations with AI's. or friends, or solo. An example is "Opperation Stonewall" where you must defend a certain location for a certain amount of time. This is a great addition for those that need more "campaign - like" content.

Overall a great game 10/10 would relive this games release again.
