Time for Crab

Alright. So, I purchased this game on the steam page assuming it'd be an install much like any other game. Since its, you know, made by a triple A studio like square enix I assumed I could just install the game- How foolish I was.
I spent quite literally from 4 AM to 6 PM going through fix after fix trying to solve some unknown problem with their launcher which caused the download to eternally reset over and over. The help I found online came only from other people, with the actual devs and moderators in this game being completely silent. This was, of course, AFTER I had battled with their horrendous account registration system and ♥♥♥♥. After literally eleven straight hours of bug fixing, partially downloading and restarting, file deleting, I stumbled upon one lone thread that found me the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lost answer to this problem.
I finally get the game installed and playable around seven PM, after noticing that on the steam market it has 'No refunds' slapped right under the purchase button, and play around a bit. It seems fun, with a lot of content and grindability- Then I noticed the "29 days of playtime remaining" by the bottom of my character.
So, the base game is 20$. The DLC is 40$. Thats already the full price of most triple A games, and the worst part is that I had no idea there even WAS a subscription service until I noticed this and looked it up online. I being a newish player missed the small box below the store page which warned you that the 60$ you spent were, in fact, purchasing a trial. The marketing of this game, at least initially, is downright predatory and brutal.
Yes, I'm sure this game has a lot of content.
Yes, I'm sure it IS fun once you manage to actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play it.
But I am not going to spend 100$ plus just to play a game I had to spend an entire day troubleshooting and literally getting and using a VPN to fix some godforsaken issue they have, already paying upwards of 60$ for what I assumed was a full game, and then getting shafted not ONLY by the account management system of this game, but also realizing that the 60$ I just spent were purchasing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ demo.
