while there are many, many, MANY issues with Session, there's simply no better skateboarding simulator on the market. it's extremely in depth and incredibly satisfying. if you can get past the flaws, this game has an amazing core. highly recommended for any skating sim fan. it's way better than Skater XL.

Solving The Golden Path made my opinion of this game go from "really good" to "probably the best game that I've ever played".

getting all of the achievements in this game was almost as difficult as Hollow Knight and i'm not joking. 10/10.

Extremely cute, fun, and violent. Great environmental storytelling too.

This is genuinely a terrible game. You will very quickly run into crashing issues where you'll see that they didn't even title the game properly in whatever program they used. It will say "TheGameWeAreWorkingOn has crashed". If you can make it past the menu, you are met with an uninspired narration that instantly feels like a bad Cave Johnson ripoff. You crawl slowly past flipped assets until you reach the first bit of undisclosed generative AI. the instructional posters are all AI generated. I feel the need to mention that it's super weird to have obstacles being a blow up doll and vibrators when you're playing as a baby. I could maybe forgive all of this if the gameplay itself was fun but it just isn't. It's an extremely basic platformer that doesn't feel good to play. It's just all around a bad time.

it's perfect

i love this game. it's such a unique take on the roguelikes and shopkeeper/simulator games. both aspects of the game can leave just a *little* to be desired, but they combine to make for an extremely fun experience. it's a pretty brutal grind to get all achievements, but i enjoyed it until the end.

this game is extremely fun to speedrun. it's a short casual experience, 4-6 hours to 100%, but the movement feels incredible. there's hidden speed tech and the skill ceiling is very high. the devs are super supportive of the speedrun community and there's even a secret nod to the runners and AGDQ in the Factory level. i recommend this game to both casual players and platform enthusiasts alike. i really hope that more people start speedrunning this game, it deserves all the love.
