I can not recommend to take part in this ongoing scam.

So many promised features are not in and never will be in.
Stuff like they showed to us years ago like when that car drove through that café and pushing over all the furniture.
The whole physic system is missing. Throwin is missing.

They actually couldnt figure out how to enable players to move while holding binocs to their eyes so they just said "oh we didnt do it because in real life ppl wouldnt walk around while looking through binocs... what a pathetic lie!!!

The whole "mountain-man" game experience is not in. Crafting stations are not in and never will be.

I could go on and on forever but I close my case by talking about server performance and their cheap tricks to squeeze some frames out of the servers. In order to do so, the zeds are now spawning dynamicly whenever a player is close to a point of interest. It was promised to have persitent zeds from day 1 and hordes and all that ♥♥♥♥.
Also, in order to increase performance the servers now have fog which reduces view distance significantly. What a cheap and most half-arsed approach.

Thats all for now. If you still buy this game it's your own fault!

BI should get sued for that!

yea I play the game still cause I kinda got used to be frustrated and annoyed.... call me a masochist :D

Anyway, I could list all the stuff that was promised and compare it to what has actually been delivered after 6(!!!) years of development and what features have been officially canceled in the process (mainly because the engine that was specifically written for the game was not up to the task after all)... But i wont because it's too tedious.

All I am saying is that at this point it has become nothing but a scam. I can live with it but I would still not recommend anyone to buy this game

@Wolfsen- the player base for Bohemia games love mediocrity and excel at wasting time. Asking them why 'anything' is futile. Just let them love this garbage like the retards they are. lol

Just about everything you've stated in this review is misguided at the very least! Never read anything about crafting stations. I've played since it's release, and not once heard/read that promise. You can throw as of patch 1.04 and works really well. Hordes do exist not sure where that claim came from.

Persistence works with everything except dynamically spawning zombies, and you've got a problem with that piece? So, you have a problem with a better performing game unless you have a potato so the new engine & additions are hurting your performance. Unless your draw distance is set so low you have the fog that is also false. This game didn't come out during the Nintendo 64 age.

They haven't stopped updating this game since it officially launched, and it's all the better for it. It's cool not to like the game anymore man, but you don't have to iterate false claims about it to convey your message.

PS However the reviewer isn't helping himself by playing so much and calling it a scam. He makes himself look dumb.
