Honestly an amazing game for some fun chaos. It might have lost some players when the whole playstation thing happened but with that out the way I can still say this is a fun game (extra with friends)

I really wanted to enjoy this game as I'm a big fan of DBD and the lore behind it.

That said the game feels like you have little to no say over the story with characters who are 1 note and not fleshed out. It also feels kinda clunky and constant back and forth between timelines while interesting, I think take away from the locations. That and characters deaths that happen regardless of choices just feels bad as a player, and exploring gives you multiple lines and option that in the end have no impact and was a giant waste of time.

This isnt a horrible game, it tells and interesting story and you can tell they worked hard on the game, but for the price I expected more and am disappointed. Get it when on sale not full price.

Few server issues on day 2. However if you like destiny or Warframe this is another game like that. can be a little grindy to get stuff

It adds a few small things and some very simple levels.
I ended up beating half the levels with a flying ship I used in the main game and a weighted car with the grapple.

While I am recommending it as it adds exactly what it says, I'm not 100% sure its worth the cost?

Edit for clarification: Would be worth it if they added more water levels, It didn't even take me half an hour to finish all of the new ones

I went into this game not expecting much or knowing the studio. I'm an active D&D Player and honestly assumed this game would be a worse version of playing that.

I was wrong, this game is amazing and has sky rocketed to my favourite story game of all time.
It is close enough to D&D while changing its rules to fit a video game better and my god the amount of choice this game offers is amazing. Took me 98.4 hours to finish my first play through and I do not regret a single hour. 10/10 worth getting

Silica Early access first impression:

After streaming the game for a little bit ive got a good 4+ hours and have tried the 3 on release game modes of Arena, Prospectors and Strategy.

Arena - Its a basic first person area free for all, there isn't a whole lot to talk about here as its just spawn in with one of the few guns available and try to kill people or AI. The map isn't insanely interesting and it doesn't have kits like other FPS guns of primary secondary and grenades but for a quick jump in and kill people it does the job.

Prospectors - You spawn in and must cross part of the desert to hold down an area. I was actually looking forwards to this however its very short and aside from one area of wave clearing its mostly just walking in a fairly basic desert and can be kinda dull, you could skip this and not really be missing out on anything.

Strategy - Probably the main reason you got the game, a RTS with people going round as FPS. Over half my stream was spent on this game mode which was surprisingly fun, as FPS its chaotic with shots firing everywhere and i love it, almost exactly what I was looking for, from an RTS view you have command and everything makes so much more sense, The game gives me the same kinda feel as Starcraft 2 with only one large glaring issue, The AI. the amount of times your harvester will just climb onto a rock and beach itself or have 2 of them just crashing into each other is insane and slows down the match into fix the broken ai which will do it again as soon as you look away. Some of the maps are also to bright or way to dark where being zoomed in is pointless.

All these negative points aside the game is early access and i think there is alot that can be done here and my main complaints will all be fixed with time.

Dungeon Alchemist is an absolutely amazing resource that is paired perfectly with Virtual table tops such as Foundry or Roll20 or even just showcasing the maps on a TV.

The development team seem amazing with fantastic updates such as the winter one allowing for exporting videos and being connected to Heroforge with first person view and movement (not something I was expecting but am amazed by)

Having been a supporter from kick-starter I can safely say I am amazed with the product and look forwards to seeing the next updates and new items i can add to my maps.

10/10 would recommend
