This is a great game overall in almost every aspect and very fun to play if you like competitive gaming and strategy games. However the one thing this game does absolutely wrong compared to the game that came before it which was Dota 1 is that this game does not penalize people for Griefing games in ranked matches like Dota 1 did. Back in Dota 1 you would get a 1 day ban , 2 day ban , 1 week ban , 1 month ban , 3 month ban , 6 month ban , and permanent ban all depending on what you did and how many times you did it. These bans were tied to your I.p. so you could not just make a new account to avoid the ban and play you would need a totally different computer and internet service provider. This actually forced people to follow the rules or they would risk losing their accounts. Believe it or not this method worked amazing and it made the community much , much better so the game grew tremendously to where it is today. Sadly Dota 2 does not penalize bad behavior at all in the game. so because of this more and more ranked games are not enjoyable anymore because you have people in the game Griefing their whole team trying to lose the ranked game on purpose or going out of their way to ruin the game for you or someone else on the team for no reason at all sometimes. This is the biggest Problem Dota 2 has that needs to be addressed because its going to drive more and more people that play the game for a competitive aspect away from playing and go to other games , because why play a ranked game with the goal being to win the game when you have a teammate trying to lose just because he knows that no punishment is going to be handed down to him for losing on purpose.
