If you are into this type of game, more of a Historic kind of game, it's for you.

There are a lot of good things about this game, the most being as a person that loves Historical battle, this makes me enjoy the game. The accuracy of some if not most of the gameplay is realistic. From multiple maps to different infantry the game keeps itself up.

However, with all of this comes the bad side of the game. For starters, people tend to spam their microphones with either really loud music or they make obnoxious sounds throughout the entire game. I find myself muting more people than actually playing. After mic spammers, there are some aspects of the game that confuses me, like a single swing of a sword kills you instantly, but a shot from point blank doesn't? Now, that could be my crap shooting, but still doesn't make sense.

Cavalry is pretty annoying, their turning rate is horrendous, and if anyone shoots the horse, it gets stunned for a good 5 seconds before you are able to resume running. In that amount of time, most of the time before that 5 seconds is over, you are dead. When it comes to close combat, you either hit the target or die. There is almost never any in between. By the time you reload, you got stabbed by someone near you or killed by a Line Infantry 87 meters away. Which to my knowledge, is pretty hard to do as their guns tend to be more inaccurate at far range.

If you live in the US and tend to join an actual populated server, you have almost only 1 to choose from. There is either 1 US server almost always full with 150 players so it's hard to join or you can join the other US server that almost always has 50 or below players, which tends to make the game a little bit more dry and slow. You can join other servers such as EU and CHN however, unless you intend to get shot by someone running mid-air, I don't suggest joining it.

There are currently 3 walking sounds, which include, dirt, stone, and wood. However, when you walk through water, you just hear dirt. Now, for a game this far in development you'd think that they would have water sounds, or even water movements when you walk through it. Aside from walking in it, when you swim they have water sounds and movement.

Though I have 28 hours played, I don't see myself getting too much into this game in one sitting considering that most of the gameplay is completely annoying. The amount of mic spammers make my head hurt, and I wont even get started on the ones screaming racial slurs.

The community within the game isn't completely terrible, there are some players that either make the game more in depth by actually acting and there are some that just enjoy sitting on chairs and running a bar and making small talk, even with the enemy team.

The main reason I even recommend this game is for the ones that enjoy Historic like warfare, like myself. And some of the members of the community that make this game more enjoyable.
