So far I am enjoying this a lot. It is a difficult grind solo, but that seems intentional. I would like to see the difficulty change in having four Players from the start.

Games where you can choose to be good or bad are great. This game isn't that. In this game you are a bad guy, so is almost everyone else, but you are a bad guy fighting to save their own life so...*shrug*.

My take of the game:
The main character lacked a development arch, the only background choices were criminals (yes I have had the argument and I stand firm at all mercenaries are criminals), and all the endings were unsatisfying. The outfits shouldn't even be an option when you can only see your character while riding a motorcycle, in a mirror, or in cut-scenes. Unless there is a third person view, or some game-play change besides a stat boost (which comes from the armor and not the clothing), it was a wasted and unnecessary mechanic. Wasn't sure why there was even a crafting menu, and the money didn't seem to matter much. I felt rushed to finish the main story-line because every call or message from those characters were ended with a "meet me tonight" or "don't make me wait", but in the end that didn't matter at all and they can just be put off for as long as you want. It made the whole urgency of having Johnny scooping out your brain seem even more trivial. I thought I might play through all three choices (Nomad, Corpo, and Street Kid), but after finishing the game and realizing the background only really effects dialogue options and your character build choices remain the same, there really was no replay value.

Never have I enjoyed a game I barely understood how to play so much. Boot up your web browser and gather the online guides, because your journey into cultivation is about to begin. It will be full of your disciples blood, sweat, and tears, but you will eventually build something slightly resembling a sect only to have the enemies attack and lose it all. Then you start over again, building things a little better, a little faster, and a little more prepared for the next wave of sect exterminating foes. When you finally feel you have the basic grasp of the concepts behind the game you can switch from the Classic survival mode to Immortal mode and have the game double the difficulty. Wipe those tears away and get started again, because nobody ever said the path to immortality was supposed to be easy.

Loved this game for building survival play and for the RP servers I would play on. Dropped it after the Age of Sorcery update killed off future DLC packs for micro-charges and battle passes. Core game is still solid if you can ignore the messages letting you know to check out the rewards/store menu.

A dystopian tower in the clouds. This game is beautiful and imaginative. The atmosphere reminds me of Mist or Zork in the mystery behind the world you wake up in. I would love to play a prequel and/or sequel to this game with more story development and some puzzle solving.

This game is not designed for people who play solo or in small groups and in game mechanics punish players who are not online every day. Once you get past the starting tutorial island and take your first trip sailing, there isn't much left in the game to enjoy. I kept thinking there would be improvements that would make the game playable for me but the updates kept going in the opposite direction, making the game more specifically geared towards daily group players.

The game is developing well and will probably end up being really popular to a niche crowd, but if you want to solo or play with a small group of friends, this game would be a waste of money.

Perhaps the most visually stunning game I have played to date. I could not put this game down from start to finish and plan on replaying with a VR rig at the first chance I get. Can not recommend enough!
