So far I've loved it. It's what I loved about the first game and more, but my god, nearly two of my hours were just me trying to get the game to actually run properly. The game would freeze at the first cutscene. After trying multiple fixes suggested by the devs, none of which worked, putting the game into windowed, skipping the first cutscene, and then going back to fullscreen in-game, allowed me to play, and all cutscenes after that have been fine, other than the fact that the dialogue is out of sync.

Still an amazing game and playing it on mouse and keyboard, FPS unlocked and in 4K just feels right. I haven't had any performance issues on the highest settings, as others say they have,so I can't comment on that. Only problems I've had so far is that if you try to access the options menu in-game, it causes the game to crash, resolutions appear to be out of order, and opening the Steam overlay is really slow. Other than those three things, it's been perfect.

I honestly love this game. Firefights are super intense. Only problem I really have is the game appears to use P2P and if the host leaves, everyone gets sent back to the main menu. It can be impossible to tell if someone in the distance is a friendly or not since you can't see any identifier as well, to keep it realistic I'd recommend something like you press whatever button is bound to the map, and your character will look at their phone, on their chest, arm, etc. And it has a map, like ATAK/iTAK.

Price is probably a little too high for most for what content there is at the moment, as a lot are saying, but if you're willing to pay and support the devs it's still a really great, immersive, and intense experience like no other game I can really think of. There are currently 4 or 5 types of set missions that will be randomly generated and can have stuff such as mortars or VBIEDs that you will have to deal with. To me it's well worth the price, even more so seeing the roadmap of what's to come.

Most issues people have brought up are already being fixed by the devs and they've said that patch should hopefully be out tomorrow or maybe even before.

I'd definitely recommend buying the game, now or later on, trying it out, and if you don't end up liking it, refunding it.

Some of these reviews though are bringing up stuff up from the cancelled 2009 version of the game though which is weird, as this version has only been in development for a few years. And a few are people just not understanding how to change their settings.

Amazing game. Gives strong SOCOM and Ghost Recon vibes. Shooting and movement feels fantastic. Campaign is pretty short but fun, multiplayer is fun as well. Camera is pretty good, but not perfect. The worst part of the game is the AI. It is so stupid, I don't know how they got worse since the play-test. The AI have problems with not listening to your orders, waiting for the enemy to shoot them just about to death before they fire back, not take cover, will randomly decide when they want to throw a grenade, and usually there's not even enemies there. Mid-artillery firing down the AI will decide it's a great idea to go run out into it, randomly climb over things they don't need to, etc. I found it easier just to tell the AI to stay put, go through the missions all by myself and only call them in when it was an objective where I had to defend, was in the open, or just needed some backup. The game would be perfect to me if the AI was better.
