So uh, this review kinda sucks to make, arrowhead as of yesterday made it manditory to have a PSN (play station network) account to play the game with the purpose of "safety", PSN kinda sucks (they get breached all of the time and it is meant for collecting data) so this really makes no since to have for pc players who play with cross play off (such as me). This isn't what we really agreed to when getting the game in the first place and feels very bait-n-switchy so for now my review is gonna be red and I'd recommend anyone who happens to read this who is interested in helldivers to hold off for now, keep an eye on updates and reports to see if it goes away.

if you already HAVE helldivers2 and feel this is super unfair, you can refund your game, you just need to tell steam support under "issue not listed" in the refund section that the devs have made a mandatory change which requires another 3rd party service which was not at all mentioned when you bought and played the game. I have seen that sort of report work for others so give it a shot.

Edit, better now, but keep an eye out for sony shenanigans, still missing HD2 in a ton of countries which sucks.

super super grindy for the xp that towers need, the starting towers are just not very helpful and you will lose most of the starting games you have

back when this game came out, it was so so so much fun, snow boarding and gliding around with a unique map and drop system, but after a year or two offline i came back and it just feels boring, its just a battle royal now, nothing really cool, it feels like pubg, but worse. i would not recomend playing this at all anymore, its a shame to. it was fun

really fun and worth every penny
