This game's mechanics are quirky but is very similar to roller coaster tycoon 2.

BUT there is still so many bugs or features in the game that should have been fixed a long time ago.

MODS do help with the experience so please use the community workshop. (I cannot play the game without it anymore)

I love spending 50hours for a laser attachment on a gun i cant use before grinding another 50 hours on some other gun.

I CANT STOP PLAYING!!!

If you like the Homestuck story this is a very well executed game.

*Story so far and characters*
The story of act one is good but with a few flaws and tight strings.
"I felt like there could have been alot more character progression and more personel story for the protagonist of act 1"

*Gameplay*
The game progressively gets easier the longer you play since the game wont explain the basic's of the interfaces and possible scenarios where you can interact with surrounding objects using your items. Leaving you "The player" to explore the features of the games potential. There was plenty of puzzles and i can proudly say that i got stuck on the first one for about 30 minutes until realising i had been looking everywhere else than what the hint had told me...
So reading your environment can pay off and another reason to sit back and relax while reading every line of dialog presented to you.
Prepare yourself aswell for cracy amount of unique dialogs for objects ,enermy's ,chat messages AND combination with you equipment.
Sadly there was a few anoying things with the mouse which i had struggles with while moving with the character i was playing as aspecially in slim areas like the (SPOILERS) stairway to the attic!

*Art-style and theme*
The game itself looks beautiful with a few toned down things.
Rooms look great and you get that style of color cartoons which has an amazing feel to it.
Animations in cutscens are executed perfectly from Cuts and expressions of specific situations this includes [SPOILER) The mid battle sequence!
The animations for movable charecters was good but could have been better.
"It felt like i was moving 5 FPS all the sudden while bending a spoon!"
It was an animation though and it takes time to draw that kind of stuff so still well executed!

*Music*
The music sets a good theme for the environment but as the game goes on it kinda gets a little repetitive especially if you get stuck on a puzzle.

*Other things*
The game currently has a few bugs here and there but not something thats gamebreaking.
Examples: upscaling the game will make the screen black and makes the interface weird to look at. Cutscenes that wont start. ETC. "But im sure this will be fixed very soon".

*Final word*
As a kickstarted game has this been a very well start.
-Concept is great!
-Music is Unique!
-Gameplay is frustrating but very enjoyable after you "The player" learn the basic's!
-Artwork and animation is good but can be better!
"The game was a little to short and felt like i had explored almost everything withing 3 hours which kinda left me disappointed and is the biggest reason why i give this a 7/10. (Good job) This however can be change in the upcomming ACT's but as it is now i dont think it deserves anything higher"

I will update this as more "ACT's" comes out.

I love the old style 8 bit games with incredible story and awesome comedy.
Worth the money. 10/10
