Im a newcomer to the game, but seeing the pathetic, whiny behaviour off a multi million dollar company with a victim complex as they try to gaslight people into accepting anti consumer practices in the name of corporate greed is so pathetic it justifies all the valid criticism leveled at this company.

Play this game if you'd like, but don't give gaijin a cent, they don't deserve it, and if the game goes under because of that, at least take solace in knowing you stood by your principles in the face of rampant capitalist tyranny.

Everyone whining about emotes and the focus on graphics and performance will either stop playing for a week before coming back, or they just want to rant about tencent or fortnite or how the game isnt mil-sim enough for them. The new update has had a great impact of performance, its the latest in a long line of updates, and its great the game has gotten so many free updates instead of locking content behind dlc or a "SQUAD 2".

Lots of people are treating this update like its a slippery slope, when gestures and emotes are really the only viable form of DLC that wont fracture the playerbase.

• They provide no in-game advantage (If anything its a disadvantage).
  
• Skins or a camo set could provide an advantage in-game.
  
• A paid map or faction DLC could tear the player base apart.
  Raising the price of the game was the only alternative, but it could discourage people to buy the game and stop the player base from growing.
  
  Emotes really are the only way they can get more funding to keep the consistent, almost monthly updates going.
  
  Anyone who doesn't understand that shouldn't be listened to.
