12/10. What an underrated masterpiece. It is indeed a worthy sequel to Innocence. Better story and lore, better gameplay, better graphics and much more emotional compared to the 1st game.

Pros :
+ Stunning visuals. Even without any RT gimmicks the game really looks great. Also, it has a good photo mode.
+ Great story and lore. IMO the story is better than the first game and there's a sense of mystery when you are trying to unveil the lore and origins of the plague.
+ Fantastic voice acting performance. There are a lot of emotional moments and the voice actors delivered them very very well. Also, hats off to Charlotte McBurney (Amicia). She delivered an insanely good performance.
+ Great characters and character development. Most of the characters are well-written whether they are returning characters from the 1st game or the new ones.
+ One of the best-written characters/main protagonists in video games (yes I am not exaggerating, this is coming from a Red Dead Redemption fan). Amicia's roller coaster of ups and downs plus her character growth are so well executed.
+ Improved gameplay from the 1st game. Now you are not so hopeless anymore when you are detected and being approached by an enemy.
+ Linear story but some chapters give you a chance to explore more than the 1st game.
+ Impressive soundtracks. Seriously the songs hit hard, especially in some scenes. The Requiem theme that plays on the main menu slaps.
+ New skills, gadgets, and ammo type. Crossbow is very fun once you have unlocked the correct skills. There are also a lot of new skills that can help you play better. There is also a new material called tar that can set more fire.
+ Good replayability. New Game Plus is available for those who want to grind the skills.
+ Good DLSS implementation and the game runs well now. No performance issues for me.

Cons :
- You need to play A Plague Tale: Innocence to understand and relate more to Amicia and Hugo, especially in some specific scenes.
- They got rid of an ammo called Devorantis that can force enemies with helmets to take off their helmets. Before you get the crossbow, enemies with helmets can only be stunned and then you need to run away or evade them unless you have a knife.
