I have been a vegetarian for two years, and a vegan for six months; I went to my school cafeteria and I asked if the veggie burger had cheese or egg, and he wasn't sure but I figured a black bean burger wouldn't have any, and the bun they used I knew was okay. I ended up being given the regular burger; when I went to class to eat I realized that it tasted weird and there was no beans so I asked my friend to taste it - and she confirmed that it was meat. I had an emotional breakdown in the bathroom, I managed to puke the few bites up but I still feel sick. I had no idea that I would have such a emotional response, but I literally felt so sick and I still feel horrible. I just needed to vent, I am so upset.
