This is not the usual type of detective game one would imagine. The story begins with a rookie detective with the name of Lily Parker and a defense attorney, Victor Lane. A jogger passes by a murder at the harbor and finds a corpse under a freight. Lily Parker and Victor Lane are ordered by the Chief to investigate this crime scene together, which unfurls into a big mystery.

There are two characters who are playable at this game: Lily and Stella. Stella works in the laboratory, assisting both of them with their case.
Apart from the main story, Lily leads and assists the forensics investigating the crime scene and delivers them the items they need. At the police station, she orders the witnesses and police officers to their places interrogating or helping them. Stella on the other hand, helps the scientists in their research in the laboratory, delivering the right tools and chemicals required for the investigation. For the entire game, only the mouse is needed.
On each main level, there is a hidden mouse whose name is Carl. To find him, you'll receive a diamond at the end of each level in exchange for purchasing evidence for the case file - it's like a collection. Diamonds can also be collected in challenge levels and daily challenges which have no significance to the main plot.
The game itself has some flaws, particularly with certain levels and minigames that are impossible to beat. Also, the story is hard to enjoy because of the unrealistic way a character behaves. For example, Lily always gets upset most of the time and is very judgemental for no reason throughout the entire story. It agitates me every time.
As for the end of the story, it ends pretty abruptly. It could have been further expanded.

In the end, I wouldn't recommend this game for anyone expecting a thrilling detective story or engaging gameplay.

This game begins with Sherlock Holmes embarking on a voyage to Cordona with his “brother” Jon. On this island, he mourns for his mother and soon becomes entangled in a mystery based on a rumor that his mother died under different circumstances. On his journey, he reminisces about everything he had done in his childhood in order to find clues and to discover the cause of his mother's demise.

As for the gameplay, you play as Sherlock Holmes, who is not yet known for his exploits and capabilities as a detective but gradually gets acquainted by the police.
Besides for the controls, it can be challenging and confusing because there is a notebook where you store every detailed description of any case and evidence which can be pinned, in order to proceed in this game. I didn't notice it at first and strolled around for about 30 minutes. But once you understand the gameplay, it is easier to get along with the cases.
Furthermore this game is open world and facilitates the exploration by teleportation where the waypoints has to be discovered. Other than that, solving cases resembles the gameplay of previous games of this series.
The story is mostly not really exciting and lacks suspense because of the way these cases are quickly solved.
On the other hand, what they really did well is the music. It is very exotic and captures the essence of a Mediterranean island inhabited by various cultures. It suits greatly on different specific parts of the map.
Visually, it has a high level of detail and it looks stunningly good.

In conclusion, the game lacks in the understanding of the gameplay at the beginning and creating a thrilling theme. But in the end the game is mediocre in a good way capturing a beautiful scenery and music.

Monument Valley is a riddle game where perspective is key. The player plays as a princess which takes place in a geometrical environment. During the game, the princess is confronted with ravens and a block friend and a ghost who tells the storyline of this game in short sentences. Coming to the part of solving puzzles requires only the mouse whereas the keyboard has no relevant controls. Aside from that, the music is very soothing and relaxing which harmonizes with the graphics and gives it a stress-free atmosphere. Also a great feature is that it can be played again if there is an opportunity to kill time due to its simple gameplay. I recommend this to everyone who is interested in this kind of ambience.

Currently, this game has many graphical issues. The water textures are glitching all over the place and now a new glitch appeared where I fall under the map and I can't do anything. I can move and do Revelio but I can't use the map and handbook because it doesn't react. Now I'm stuck there and can't leave. All in all, this game is very good, it has a big world for exploration, a nice combat system and a really cool story but at this state, it is unplayable.

Edit: I managed to get back to the ground and beat the game. Also I collected all the achievements. The story is a bit short but it could be longer. In conclusion, the bugs are still there and they should be fixed. Nonetheless, it was fun playing it.

It is a very simple game but it would be great to implement a restart feature. I am stuck at one level for hours and I can't complete it because I am not able to get 95%. At least it would be great to show what I have missed if you highlight certain things when you reach 90% or similar like that. It is kinda frustrating

Haven't played this game through but it's a really enjoyable game. The characters are stiff but all in all a great game.

Well, this is what I call a really good game!
Unfortunately, there are some bugs with the collectibles and the online coop.
Apart from that, the development of this game is magical! My eyes are feasting at everything and the riddles get more harder. Furthermore, the game has more levels than the previous games and the length of these levels are long which is pretty great.

A bit too short but tries to get out of the comfort zone, experimenting with the 3D perspective and it is much better.
There are very, very creative levels that blew my mind. And the graphics and the characters are a chef's kiss - really. The characters are more defined and I like the color pattern of the world.

The sequel of the first game.
There are some problems occuring in this game, same like the first game like the online coop game. It stil has its own problems like kicking other players from the game.
However, this is still a fun game using the old style.

Once I have seen the video, I absolutely fall in love with this game! The riddles are creative and the scenery of this world is just breathtaking. The game is like a fairytale reading from a book which is exactly like that.
Every character has their own personality and they are funny as well.
Highly recommendable!
