This game has a broad playerbase.

After playing for quite some time now I must say I love your game. I am a huge fan of large and complex RTS’s and find it quite interesting how you managed to both simplify and make this one of my favorite games. Even my younger brother who hates strategy games with a passion enjoys this.
I find it interesting how you limited resources. While some friends whom I’ve given this game to aren’t too happy about this, I think it’s great that players are required to keep expanding and the ones that make an indestructible turtle starve. This feature is also good at making games last only ten to thirty minutes making it great for passing a short amount of time.
As for the story, I find it interesting but lacking. The game makes several references to Argo once or still is a boxer so maybe more elaboration on that. Hopper and The Quartermaster (as far as I am aware) only have rumors of their injury’s and it would be nice for more there as well. It is disappointing how SUGER is only used once then disappears from the story. I understand taking it away for balancing future levels and to prevent repetitiveness but an explanation for putting it on the shelves would be nice. Also, it is strange that you can have multiple unique characters like Tasha on the field.
The story levels are fun quite fun but have some problems. The difficulty “curve” is very jagged making a level easy, then difficult, then easy. Sure, the average difficulty threw out the levels is a curve, but this can make an unbalanced feeling of “this is so hard” then “this is too easy”. The ability to randomize maps is HIGHLY exploitable. Randomize the map enough, then the level is simply handed to you.
I find the art style quite amazing. The drawn portraits of characters, pixel sprites, background, and animation sequences were very well done.
As for bugs, I have only encountered one thus far and it only appeared recently. When going into the multiplayer menu if I try to join a game, I’ll be taken to a lobby but won’t join it either as a player or spectator.
I quite enjoy this game and believe my friends are as well. I highly recommend not only getting this game but also getting one for your friends to play with.
