Portal-esque puzzle game that does exactly what first-person puzzlers do best. An elegant level progression system with the keys to new levels and tools scattered across the entire game. Its library archive system of records from before Elohim's rule and their commentary on the future of AI is a beautiful addition.

I say wait for sale. Excellent game but not quite worth its full price.

9/10.

So much fun if you want to a genuine puzzle to solve or to just screw around with a friend. Puzzles are challenging but certainly not too difficult. Don't forget to ditch your friend at the end to show them how much you like them.

The AC franchise hit a peak with this game. It's less of an AC game and more of a pirate simulator with Assassin's Creed elements, but nonetheless a masterpiece.

At some points, it does feel patronizing, as in some missions getting spotted for a split second is a failure whereas others you must stand in the open for extended periods of time. Ubisoft is also incredibly trigger-happy with waypoints. Even when you travel in a straight line and its a ravine that is unclimable on both sides, they give you way points.
