A lot of people have been bad-mouthing this game when in actual fact, I'm in love with it.

I started a couple days ago and I've already got 7 people who are happy to see me the next time I log on and eager to help me in my quests.
People are saying it's such a grind to level up when I'm already level 17 because I made high level friends.
The community is awesome. Admittidly there are some trolls but you can just blacklist and ignore them. I was happy to be welcomed into the community with open arms and all because I sat near a group of people around a guy on a bench XD

The quests are boring if you have to do them alone but if you take breaks by dancing and chatting with people you make friends who are happy to help you level up.
The Cupid system is slow but you can purchase Cupid Keys with real money if you can't be bothered waiting for Cupid.

I've only come across two creepy people who I ignored and they left me alone.

If you are new to the game then I recommend going on the Athens server and talking to Firewolf because he is happy to help any newbies and doesn't nearly get enough praise for it. He's over level 70 and you can often find him sitting on a bench talking about FDVR XD

I am seriously enjoying this game and I am 100% proud to be part of the community.

Early Access Review
I wanted this game since I saw a Youtuber called 'The Innkeeper' play it. He did a great series and I'm grateful now that I have the game.
I only have a few issues though.

For example I play this game on a laptop that runs quite slow and because it is difficult for me to customize and create my own buildings I use the templates. Unfortuntly there are only four to choose from which means that my town doesn't look very different since I have to use the same buildings. If there were a few more templates to choose from I'd be much happier.

Also I think a good idea for the game to make it more realistic is to have children in the game. Like if your hearthlings could start families. I think that this would be good because I often look at the journal and a lot of the time it says that the Heartlings are enjoying their time here with friends and family.
However there is no family connections.
I think it would just be cute if your Hearthlings had personalities and could start their own families. It would also be a challenege in its own because obviously one of the parents would have to look after the child.

If your Hearthlings could get married as well because as they get older and pass away their family carries on and you can get a real emotional feeling to your town knowing that they aren't just expanding with buildings or crafters but as like little indivisuals in your computer.
It would also mean another job avaliable like a priest. He could marry the Hearthlings who want to be married. It would also mean that the Blacksmith could create rings, not only to sell but for personal use in the town.

However when it comes to kids I don't mean that one day there is just a child there and you get a little notification informing you that there is one.
I think that your Hearthling could get pregnant. Of course keeping the game PG so you dont see any of the nasty but it also makes it harder as well, especially since if you've just started and there is already a married couple with a pregnant woman, she shouldn't be able to build or do much work since she is with child.

I do enjoy the game but I think that these adjustments would help improve the game because you'd be able to see each indivisual Hearthling grow.
It also works especially well because everyone has to have their favourite Hearthling.
It would also mean that there would be more journal entries, from crushes, to planning weddings or even finding out that one of the Hearthlings is pregnant. Because the Herbalist could check up on them to make sure that they're healthy. A lot like a midwife.

This game has had me engrossed since I bought it. To be completly honest I'm very impressed.
So far I've only found one bug which is when entering the workshop and being able to walk around in the black area around the workshop but if anything I found it more amusing then annoying.
I'd recommened only a few things that would make the game better.

Of course a gender option would greatly improve the game because many people don't like playing games if they can't choose the gender and it was one of the reasons I wasn't sure on buying the game.

More animal options. For example horses and cats, these are common farm animals and I'd love to be able to have a cat on this game. Despite the fact that horses have no way of income it would still add something to the game and can even be used for parties.

I think being able to hire workers would help because most of my time spent playing the game was going back and forth collecting materials and I'm constantly running out of energy quickly which makes it repetitive and slightly annoying. Especially since it takes a lot of resources to upgrade a tool or make something.
The workers would also help when it comes to actually running the farm. Of course you've hired them though so you'd need to be paying them.

Now I'm not sure if you can have children in the game. If you can then that's awesome. If not then I think its something worth adding because when they're old enough its more people to help take care of the farm, go fishing, mining or collecting logs.

These changes are simple and I honestly wouldn't mind sitting through an update for these because they could greatly improve the gameplay. The game is great without these but I think that these would make the game more intresting and less repetitive.
