"Ezio. Started with hate for templars, left with hate for bards and rooftop guards."

Assassin's Creed 2 provides so much more features compared to it's predecessor, Assassin's Creed 1, which basically didn't have any besides missions for the main storyline and saving civilians.

Weapon and character customisation, Controling and managing your own base, Parkouring in tombs and solving puzzles from glyphs. Several assassination contracts and varied races. All these new features, among others, make this game really alive and allow you a far more prolonged experience, instead of following the storyline as your only option. Now I'm definitely not saying that Assassin's Creed 1 was bad, Because it certainly wasn't, but that it has improved so much on it's potential.

The game has respected the core mechanics and enhanced them and new items such as poison and the personally beloved smoke bomb give you a lot more options in dealing silently with your enemy. Combat has also been improved a bit with special attacks and different enemy types, making it a bit more challenging but still far from any actual difficulty.

Even though this game has been released in 2009, the gameplay is still really enjoyable, the story is great and the music. Oh my gawd man. I really recommend this for anyone who is looking for a game worth every cent.

"Don't worry about the creed my brother, we have all killed as much beggars and drunkards as we can."'

The first Assassin's Creed is a much more simpler game where the fact that you can free run was probably the selling point at that time. Besides the main storyline there is only killing templars and collecting flags as collectibles. So there isn't much diversity in content to go for and not really any point to continue playing after you finished the storyline.

The assassination missions were the best times tough as the more 'preparation missions' you did the more information you gained that was helpfull while planning out your attack. And that is what the Assassin's Creed games have always been about. Doing everything to avoid combat, since you are supposedly weaker in combat. Ubisoft seems to have forgotten that in their newer titles (Odyssey and Valhalla). Where combat is most times forced and actually better and efficient than the proper stealth approach. The fact that enemies get damage instead of just being killed instantly by an assassination attack in those games proves that.

Anyways. Assassin's Creed brings you back to where it all began. And provides a good 20 hours of proper Assassin's Creed content. Do mind the glitches tough, they do occur quite often and are as annoying as they are funny.

Though it is well known that this game had an infamously bad launch, something remarkable happened then which isnt't seen much in the gaming world today. Hello Games, despite its huge setbacks, continued with developing and improving the game which continues to this day, 5 years later.

Now No Man's Sky is, in my opinion, one of the best games out there. The uniqueness of it, massive potential it has, and the ever-increasing amount of content due to constant free updates is amazing. You can be a bounty hunter killing pirates and doing missions for the mercenary guild, you can explore and catalogue all kinds of planets with a huge variety, you can own and manage an entire fleet of ships and go out on missions. Just to name a few things.

Hello Games has really showed it cares for the game and the community and as a result of this, No Man's Sky is still alive and well rated. It has also motivated me to regularly come back to the game and explore it's new features.

There is an overwhelming amount of microtransactions which takes the fun out of it. Real gamers who prefer working for their items are left out as there is almost nothing worthy to grind for. Almost all mounts, pets and other unique items in the game are bought with real money (crowns). Though it does have a great atmosphere and decent combat, the game holds your hand way to much and the general gameplay isn't much of a challenge. It's very sad to see a game with such potential and of a beautifull franchise, be so tainted by greed.

They forget to mention you have to spend tokens every time you want to play a game. And to get more tokens, wel you guessed it, pay up. Game itself really boring and certainly not worth the money they ask you if you want to play with unlimited tokens. With the same amount you can get way better strategy games like total war.

This is just filthy greedy corporate garbage.

'That moment when you realise you can conquer all of Europe with just a few units of Hobilars'

This game is pretty unique, and there is lots of room for both potential as well as improvement. The battles and sieges are quite epic on a grand scale. The fighting animations are very stiff tough, and it looks a bit like statues attacking each other. The AI is pretty much a rock when it comes to them defending towns. There is also need for balancing, a few units of light cavalry (hobilars), can pretty much steamroll trough entire army's (That was my tactic pretty much).

In terms of potential, I think faction diversity is the way to go at this stage. Every faction is exactly the same, only the names of the units are a little bit different. As a result of this it gets pretty boring as there are no different ways to play the game and challenge yourself. I think they should add historically accurate bonuses per faction. For example a bonus for archers for England, and a bonus in trade income for Venice ETC. This way you can really change your playstyle per faction and thus campaigns becoming more fun and interesting.

I think this game is really going the right way. The developers really seem to be active, and they show love for this game. If it keeps going like this I have no doubt Medieval Kingdom Wars will be a succes in the future.
