The visuals, symbolism and imagery of this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ astounding, going above and beyond what can be done with pixel art. Good for a couple playthroughs, but it has a few questlines here and there that are tedious to figure out. Probably the game to get me back into metroidvanias since Hollow Knight.

This game is simultaneously the best RPG of all time and the worst thing in all of existence at the same time. It pulls no punches; a gruelling challenge that will ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ break you, leaving you on the brink of despair before giving you the most dopamine fuelled rush you'll ever experience in a turn based RPG. definitely worth the purchase, especially if you're into CBT
