10/10 atlus have done it again. GOTY (Soejima and Hashino cooked) Another must-play JRPG that lived up to the expectation and beyond.

85 hours (of which 10 spent maxing archetypes achievement-not needed since ng+ gave plenty xp) first 100% playthrough (not that hard to get even without a guide-e.g. follower xp not locked behind correct dialogue options like persona but instead rewards with a currency).
105 hours save file INCLUDING ng+ and superboss. Offers 3 bad endings that cut the game short, in favor of one "true" ending.

Superb music, Shoji Meguro masterclass. Excellent story, writing, artstyle and themes.
Hybrid persona/smt combat, with the good addition of the dynamic action combat. A lot of options for customization since every character can select every archetype.
Fabulous graphics, from the cutscenes (atlus always manage to make them very cinematic) to the combat animations, and of course the classic atlus menu visuals.
Solid characters, difficulty just at the right spot (can be rewarding and punishing depending on how well the whole system is used).

Overall very cool game with impressive world building, easier to get into than p5r, more streamlined calendar system and more of a "journey/adventure". The more "fantasy" medieval world setting makes it more appealing/refreshing for a western audience than the usual Japanese highschool. Doesn't have an annoying okumura boss (at least not in my experience).

Very pleasant JRPG to play, very "classic" style, following games such as chronotrigger, as the artwork suggests.
Intuitive combat system even though not challenging in either of the endings once you get the hang of it.
Loved even the sidequests and the world exploring, and very fun Wheels minigame that I wish I could play with other players.
Nice world building and characters. And of course, good music with Mitsuda-san (from chronotrigger itself!)

league rpg, nothing too challenging. nice story nice combat. gets worse when u know everything scales with attack

disappointing finale but nice game to play with friends (probably worse alone), had high expectations when i played it multiple years ago. fun!

feels like a worse fallout. not bad game but would not recommend paying full price for it
