the ai are really annoying and just dont listen to priority often plus they are scared off way too easily i guess thats supposed to force you to play the game the way the game wants you too along side a few other mechanics like corruption seemingly growing faster the closer you are to it or maybe its tied to how well you are doing either way its not very fun to fight against rimworld is better several times over and only double the price well worth it imo i really wish i could refund this game but i only realized what a pain in the ass the ai were well into my playtime unfortunately also you cant cancel dismantling

i really wanted to like this game and i have for a while and i'd like to give this game a meh review because thats how i feel but i cant so no is how its going to be its free so i cant complain too much but the problem i have as mentioned in a few other reviews is not only how you can just leave and rejoin a game if you lose and select an ai nation to take over but also the way that on some difficulties the ai are like suicidal and will make moves that actively get them killed or lose the game just to screw you over idk if anyone else noticed this but its just kind of annoying when two ai nations are at war with each other and then one asks for recognition and the other ai accepts even though they are like 2 turns away from killing one another steam really needs a middle ground option for reviews but yeah i wouldnt recommend other turn based strategy games are just better and usually not too expensive either

i like the gameplay (what little i have played) it has been pretty fun just me hanging out with friends chilling not trying to hard seeing as this is a casual game the gameplay is great but the problem is there is a small vocal part of the community that will get the mods to ban you just for being silly i got banned for having the name "festeringcum" now obviously this name is crude at best and thats what its supposed to be just a funny wacky "haha look i said the funny" name its not harmful or anything its just a silly name i made up because i was being silly and i got banned after a match where i didnt really try that hard and i think i killed someone when i was a resident because i thought they were a personoid i was wrong so they went to the games discord and reported me where i then was banned for my "Use of Offensive Username"this is of course a little ridiculous when i was just having fun playing a game with a slightly edgy immature name i made. for how long you ask? well if you ask the mods it was a temp ban if you ask me i was banned until the year 2099.



so yeah great game i like it but would i recommend it in its current state? no i wouldn't.

highly recommended one of my all time favorite games great music, fun gameplay, challenging bosses, everything you could really ask for in a game ive been playing for at least 6 years now and im still coming back to just vanilla to play again not to even mention mods

i like most of the game the survival is pretty fun and so are the quests and the only problem i have with it is the combat i hate only being able to shoot arrows or magic in 4 directions it would be a lot better if we could use the mouse to aim
