Baldur's Gate 3 is the perfect emulation of D&D I could ever imagine. Very few times in this game have I thought "I wonder if I could do this" and the game failed to allow me. Obviously its not EXACTLY D&D, you can't walk up to any NPC and ask hows the weather, or give your friend a Hi-Five or whatever, but this is the closest you'll ever get in an RPG to true freedom.

The score, gorgeous, fits every mood at every time. The graphics are clean and crisp. The replay-ability is almost heaven-like. The story is very engrossing and the party members are so delightful.

The devs listen, I have seen more updates to this game in the past couple months its been out than your mainline Pokemon games. The love and care to this world is amazing and the most insane part... I'm maybe halfway done with my FIRST playthrough.

If you aren't familiar with D&D this may be a wild tonal shift from your usual RPG, but just imagine high fantasy with wizards and stuff and you'll be alright. If you are looking for a great RPG with countless hours of enjoyment, this is the game for you.
