Early Access Review
This game is possibly one of the best games I have ever had the pleasure of playing. It is absolutely in every way perfect. The gameplay is fast-paced, enjoyable, and has depth to it without being overwhelming. The music is incredible and adds to the amazing atmosphere provided by the very unique design which we see in each level of hell.
This game is the reason that I needed to buy a new mouse, because I gamed that hard with it. I think thats all that I need to say. Plus its got sex in it. 10/10.

I had already owned this game before on the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, my younger brother took claim of pretty much the entire system when he went off to college. Luckily for me though, this gem was on sale for the summer. This game will absolutely knock your socks off in every way. The music, the over-the-top action, the characters, everything. Apparently the Steam version even comes with all the DLC inherently in it, which I did not know, I have not played the DLC yet, but the value of this aspect is amazing, and I cant wait to play through this game again and again.

This game has rapidly become one of my favorite turn based RPGs of all time for various reasons. It would take too long so I'll just break it down into a few simple things.

The Graphics
Clean and simple, they aren't anything special to look out, especially not the ingame sprites, but everything still looks nice and like it came out of the mind of Lovecraft himself. Its very unique and stands out among most anime-style RPGs with this art style, but of course, if it had an anime style, I would be somewhat disappointed , given the content.

The Music
Holy ♥♥♥♥ this is good. While you can just find most of the soundtrack online (Posted by the creator and composer no less), buying the ancestral addition and having it available at any time was amazing. I find myself listening to the soundtrack without the game. Its seriously a stroke of musical genius. Stuart Chadwood does terrific work here.

The Story:
Won't spoil much here, but the story and lore is what you would expect from a lovecraft inspired RPG. Its dark, its terrifying, it gives you the feeling that not everything is right with the world, and its all supplemented by some absolutely terrific work by Wayne June, who does the narration for the entire game, and does a great job. The lore of the game is something tremendous, and just the intro is exactly something Lovecraft himself would make.

That covers most everything, the game is fairly easy to run fo rany computer, it isnt too big and its something I consistently come back to. I can't wait for the sequel. TLDR this game is a solid 10 and hits it on the mark, but beware of difficult gameplay that punished you as hard as the game punishes the characters in it.

This game is, all in all, quite an excellent one, and even more so now that its gone FTP. I have owned it since before then, and it was definitely worth the money I spent. I suppose I may as well break down the stuff about it.

Graphics: Simplistic, 2D, sidescrolling action with little fuss or fancy stuff added on. Honestly without the additional art from the character profiles, it reminds me of a Saturday morning cartoon if anything. This makes it relatively easy to play provided that you don't live in a hellhole for wifi and don't have a potato comuter.

Gameplay: Once again quite simple, a small variety of maps for the singular manner of play keeps it a little bit more interesting, although you cannot select a map to play, its random. That being said the games pretty easy to get the hang of in terms of strategy, just a few categories of character to worry about, and only one goal, wipe out the enemy base. You don't even need to know how to build the characters because the game will help you out with what you need, and theres plenty of guides as well. So long as you dont suck totally at the MOBA genre, it should be pretty easy.

Music: Nice and catchy little tunes for every character when you get a killstreak, with each theme well relating to what/who the character is. For the most part the music isn't orgasmic or incredible or anything, but it is rather good.

In summery: Despite the somewhat long wait times because of the lacking base of players, Awesomenauts is a game worth adding to your library. Its small, its fun, its great to get together a group of friends to play with, and most of all its free, so theres no reason not to get it. Would rate 8/10 in total, as like I said, the low base of players makes actual PVP queues somewhat long, and theres the fact that on occasion the server can get wonky even with normal specs/wifi, but thats uncommon.

I don't normally review games because I use to many hyperbole and the effect is lost. However, this game is probaly one of the best FPS games i have played. It has great, strategic, class-based gameplay and each class has enough nerfs and stengths to make you feel you are doing well even though you keep dying every few minutes. There are multiple game modes and maps and the hat simulater is phenomenal. All in all I recommend getting this game, cause its both free and good.
